Welcome. As there is already a Simpsons thread in regards to favourite moments, I decided to start one for Matt Groening's other show Futurama. So what is your favourite moment in this show?

One of my favourite moments would have to be when Zapp, Fry and Kip gets sentenced to death...by snu-snu on a planet populated by Amazonian women, and their reactions to it. Also the aftermath to what happened to the last people to be sentenced to death by snu-snu (Amazon Women In The Mood).

The ending of "The Luck of the Fryrish", where Fry found out that instead of his brother stealing his lucky seven-leaf clover, and getting famous under his identity, he actually named his son in honor of Fry's memory, and his nephew was the one who went out and did great things, carrying Fry's seven-leaf clover with him the whole time, all in honor of Fry.

The backstory behind Bender's defect status, which rendered him "mortal", and when he accepted it after going on a crazy adventure with Hermes (who was the inspector that approved him instead of scrapping him altogether).

Zoidberg using a giant seashell as a house like a hermit crab and having Bender help him move furniture in and they stepped into the shell and descended like there was an escalator. And then the seashell house burns down. Underwater. Because Bender misplaced his cigar.

That just raises further questions!

Professor Farnsworth announcing the crew were being sent on an extremely controversial mission (towing the Juan Valdez near a penguin preserve on Pluto to avoid a toll booth) and Leela protesting, and Bender piloting the Planet Express ship sober. And Bender's punishment (community service, and the lawyer tried to get Bender a better punishment but was himself awaiting his own trial for incompetence).

Anything with the Robot Devil was great. There's this one scene where Leela, Fry and Bender were in the sewer and there was a monster and to lure it out, they need a snackrifise in the form of a virgin. Leela volunteers and one of the mutants responds with "nice try Leela, but we've seen Zapp Brannigan's webpage."

Speaking of Zap, one of my favorite quotes is his advice to Kiff in that "the best way to a woman's bed is through her parents."

Bender being one rock short of sending a message for help while stranded on an island (the full message saying "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I, BENDER, BID YOU HELLO! YOU DON'T KNOW ME, THOUGH YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF ME. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT. LONG STORY SHORT... I NEED HELF")

The Robot Hell song. 'nough said.

Farnsworth: Don't be stupid. It's a long lost mathematical code. I'll need to consult these ancient writings. Some preposterous hog-wash about the Fibonacci Sequence. Aha! The markings indicate how many paces we need to take. One...

...okay, we're there.
