I don't often get the opportunity to post about my collection since it seems kinda braggy, but I figure once in awhile can't hurt.

If I added everything up right, I own 308, including manga-novels. I've got a total of 36 series', most of which I'm waiting on new volumes for. The bulk of it I bought when I had a small job to earn some extra cash, but I've cut way down in the past half a year or so.

Some of my more obscure favorites:
Good Witch of the West - Awesome story that starts out as a cliche fairy tale and quickly evolves into something so much better. I'd recommend it with the warning that Tokyopop axed the last volume.
Element Line - I'm not actually sure why I like this. It's got great artwork but the story is both intriguing and vague, so I know there's a good story there and I want to find it! Another one axed by Tokyopop, I've sworn off buying anything more from them unless it finishes.
Slayers Novel Series - Would this count as obscure? They sure didn't sell well enough for Tokyopop to continue them. (Are you sensing a theme here?) The first 8 are out and if you've seen the anime but haven't read these, then you should go and find them and read them right away! In fact, even if you haven't seen the anime you should go and find them and read them right away.
Record of a Fallen Vampire - And for something not touched by the fangs of Tokyopop, this is a weird series that keeps getting weirder and weirder with every volume and has me eagerly expecting the next one.

I tend to like more girly, romantic stuff, but a good action series is good too, I have a good mix of both with some other stuff I'm not sure what it qualifies as. I've also been severely annoyed with Tokyopop for the past few months, as not finishing what they started is one of my biggest pet peeves. I refused to buy anything Viz after they axed Pokemon Adventures until they got Fullmetal Alchemist. Not knowing if I'm going to be able to finish off a series in English has turned me off Tokyopop completely.

speaking of that,
I'm currently catching up on Fullmetal Alchemist, and Pokemon Special

and I'm waiting on D.Gray-Man, Blue Dragon:Ral Grad, and Yugioh GX, although I kinda stopped reading it considering it has like no story line anymore...

GX and R both seem kinda broing so far, they are just cards games and nothing more. at least R had a decent plot. GX so far is just a card game after another.

I don't think I've ever counted my collection... I'd like to think it was less than 250... but I'm not sure (I'd feel bad if it was more though...) I have about 2 bookshelves full of Japanese comics not counting the random ones I have stashed away in storage rooms or lying around because I ran out of space to put them a few years ago... (lol?)

Even more tragic is that novels 9-15 had GREAT story arcs in them, perhaps even better than what was animated.

Way to go Tokyopop.

Anyway my manga collection is small... very small...

Only complete series I have is Sorcerer Hunters.

On the Yugioh, I don't have any plans for any of the spinoffs. I've got the first 7, 1-17 of Duelist, and all 7 Millennium World. Once I finish off Duelist one of these days, that's it for me.

I have all 38 of Yugioh, as far as spin offs go GX manga sucks and R is O.K.
I love Yugioh, but GX and R are only for the most hardcore of hardcore fans.

I don't have them right here, but I got 3 shelves of them at home... considering there's about a 100 volumes per shelf (since I managed to fit the complete Dragonball, Ranma and good portion of other stuff in one shelf), I definitely have more than 250 in total.

Can't remember off my head all the series I have, but I'll jot down Dragonball and One Piece as my favorites.
