Can't be anime or Japanese music

My most favorite parts are the language, food, the holidays, and little Japanese ceremonies.

For me its the food first, (Never tried, but I really want sushi), language (I am trying to learn it a bit, I even know how to sing part of a traditional Japanese song, but I don't remember title of it), The whole architecture of buildings I like too, some look very interesting.

Sushi.

And one of my many life goals is to wear a Kimono, so that too.

Would you settle for a faux kimono from party city during Halloween? I got one and wore it the way it was supposed to be worn and not the way it was made to.

I have quite a few favorites.

1. The Japanese obsession with English words. I love Engrish especially randomly used. For some reason, it seems really cool.

2. The language. It's so neat and is visually appealing. And when I said neat, I meant well organized as it's writing system is based on syllables rather than letters.

3. The interior decor. For some reason I am fascinated by tatami and hope to experience an authentic mat one day. I also love how airy and light traditional Japanese rooms seem to be with all the paper screens and the tatami.

4. I also like the modern Japanese houses, like the ones you see in anime like Azumanga Daioh. They're so modern and western yet are so Japanese you couldn't ever mistake them for American houses.

5. I also love the sailor fukus. Not just in anime but they're just so appealing. The stripes and the contrasting colors... I wish to own one one day.

The street fashion.

Lolita, visual, goth, punk, decora.. Japan's fashion is so unique and colorful.

I'm enthralled by their robust transit systems and that the country as a whole is, for the most part, eco-conscious.

I particularly love the gardens. Their gardens are not only great for relaxing and taking a stroll through, but make for a great art-scape that blends nature and order.

I LOVE the language. And I'm an origami freak (1000 cranes FTW ;-)), and I know we can't cite J-pop, but I do also like a bit of enka and the shamisen is such a beautiful instrument.

Learning kana/kanji and making cranes are the only productive things I get outta physics lessons XD

Ha! Thats pretty cool.

But no, I mean an authentic kimono. I hope you can rent em... T_T

The CUTE CULTURE (not that anyone else here really care's...0_o; I feel soo lonely...T.T), the language (it rock's...seriusly XD), the fasions (aww soo cute x3 and normally i don't care for real life fasion...much, anyways), the fact they honer a pink flower a lot (cherry blossoms FTW :3), their great advancedments in tecnolagy (o.o), kimonos are cool too, the fact I hear their nice people, THE BOYS (their cute...xDDD lol), J-pops (espesally...Mini Moni XD roflmao), and uhh...probably some other stuff. o.o; Surely there's a lot I missed...

Oh, and, Hello Kitty...if that count's (I LIKE HELLO KITTY BUT YOU DON'T NEED TO BASH ME FOR IT!!!...yes, i'm HIGHLY defencive over my love for the little white cat. n_n;; even if i'm learning people don't dislike her as much as I used to think they did...lol I still get defencive, anyways...).

Don't worry...at least I don't collect every Hello Kitty item I see? XD;; I sometimes wish I could, a little, though...bah.

As for Japanese food..well, rice balls sound intresting. n.n; Don't care much for sushi, though...(since i'm a vegetarian)
