Hey, I'm doing this group project for school about bikes and I think it's pretty neat, and my job is to collect information for it so I thought this would be a sweet place to start. We basically are designing a book called "my new bike", and if you're interested in helping out, here's the stuff I need:
ABOUT YOU/YOUR BIKE
a) your first name/alias
b) your newest bike. describe how it looks, its features (if it has breaks, mountain bike/street bike/etc., whatever you want to add), how you obtained it (was it a gift? did you find it at a yard sale? etc), how much it cost you (say if you purchased it yourself), and any other details about why you love it
c) your favorite bike you've ever had, describe it according to the same criteria above, UNLESS your newest bike is also your favorite.
d) what do you like in a bike?
e) what wouldn't you like about a bike? have you ever had a bike you didn't like, and what was wrong with it?
TOPICS TO WRITE ABOUT*
*you don't have to fill out all of these, but try to as much as possible!
a) winter biking (it's usually really rough and few people attempt it so if you do, describe your usual experience and how you feel about it. like, do you always ride your bike in the winter? is it your only way of getting around so you have to but you don't really enjoy it? does it mess with your bike? etc)
b)travel stories- 1) have you ever taken your bike with you on a family vacation and rode your bike around somewhere you don't live? how was it, where did you go, etc., describe your experience. 2) where is the furthest you've gone on a bike? describe your experience.
c) do you usually use your bike for commuting to school/work, or just leisurely rides? how dependent on your bike are you (is it your only mode of transportation or do you drive?)
d) how important to you is your bike?
e) ever have a bike stolen? describe the experience.
f) any moments your bike made you genuinely happy?
g) any random bike stories you'd like to share that this survey didn't cover?
