As best as I can tell, there seem to be four main worldviews within the Pokémon world; which one is yours?

1. Arctheism
Hearkening back to the ancient legends of Sinnoh, you believe the Legendary Pokémon Arceus was the first Pokémon to exist and the creator of the Pokémon Universe. Arceus created the Dragon Trio and the Lake Trio, then created all other Pokémon, including Mew.

2. EvoMewtionism
Casting your lot with many scientists and professors in the Pokémon world, you believe the Legendary Pokémon Mew was the first Pokémon to exist and all other Pokémon evolved from it. You don't know who created the Pokémon Universe, but you're pretty confident it wasn't Arceus.

3. ArcoevoMewtionism
Always willing to compromise, you believe Arceus created the Pokémon Universe, then created the Dragon Trio and Lake Trio, then finally created Mew, from whom all other Pokémon descended.

4. Psyducianism
"From within the churning depths of Psyduck's headache, the Universe was born..."

Since I don't really believe in any of those, I'm going with the flying spaghetti monster option, the Psyduck.
 
I don't support any of the options.

Arceus being the creator of the universe and other pokemon and stuff is just an in-game-myth. :p

I support EvoMewtionism. I'm a pro-evolution, it's the one which makes the most sense to me. Although Arceus could have created the Universe and blablabla, I still prefer to think about the Pokébang. Gods were never my thing, I just like them as metaphors.
 
The Pokémon World was created when Satoshi Tajiri was feeling sad about the local bug habitats being destroyed by industrialisation.

Seriously though...Sinnoh's belief about Arceus is merely that, a faith - not fact. Mew is neither. To me it seems like God vs Big Bang. In that debate, I think Big Bang was God's method (as I do with the whole Religion vs Science debate), so ArcoEvoMewism (What a lame name btw).
 
First off, I voted for EvoMewtheism because Mew came first and created all pokemon including Arceus. I think a lot of evidence for this is in the movie Lucario and the mystery of mew. Mew lives in the tree of life, and probably created other pokemon for it to play with. That explains why Mew shares the DNA of all pokemon.

Arceus is purely sinnoh legend, and I refuse to let a stupid legendary from the Generation IV unseat the real legendaries from Gen I and II.

I guess ArcoevoMewtionism sort of... though I'd put mew before the dragon trio or else it wouldn't be able to have their dna. Oddly enough, that's actually pretty close to my view of the real world minus the pokeymans involved. :p

Tghere is no evidence that Mew created Arceus at all Even scietists speculatew that Mew created most pokemon there is no proof And Gen I has the worst LEgends the Birds are overrated

Arceus can create a member of the Dragon Trio who if you didn't see in Pt can destroy the world so that myth seems to be true

ArcoevoMewtionism makes the most sense Arceus is by far more powerful then Mew it makes sense that Arceus created mew before he went night-night
