Do you agree, politically with your general area? For example, are you a liberal who lives in a state that tends to have mostly liberals?

I don't. I'm a liberal who lives in a fairly upperclass, white Hoosier (from Indiana) community, so...*shrugs*

I'm a liberal and I live in Portland Oregon, which is one of the most liberal cities in the country.

I live in Oklahoma. "We" vote Democrat in state elections and Republican in national elections. I go against the we and vote Democrat in most cases. And most people around here are severely conservative. We outlawed gay marriage. We only outlawed cock fighting in 2002. We STILL haven't legalized tattooing (we're the only holdouts).

Independent living in Indiana, a red state if there ever was one. Heck, you can't ever register "Independent" when you vote. 0_o

My state (Maryland) tends to go Democrat, but my county (Queen Anne's) is one of the reddest in the state. I'm a registered Republican and so is my family, I consider my political views to be a bit more moderate than most Republicans though.

For the record, I consider myself a libertarian. However, if I had to make educated guesses, I would say:

Within my street, most of the people are conservative.
Within my town, most of the people are liberal.
Within my county, most of the people are probably liberal.
Within my state, most of the people are liberal.
Within my nation, I think that most of the people are a bit more conservative, but I also tend to think things are swaying towards a more liberal stance.

Considering only the liberal/conservative divide, I'm a liberal living in one of the most liberal regions of one of the most liberal provinces of the most liberal country in North America :-D.

That's hardly a fair depiction of Canada, though - an American-definition liberal here can associate with any of three major parties (10+% of the national vote), depending on where exactly on the liberal scale they fall, and which issues they prioritize most (province rights, environment, economical development, etc) and with yet another semi-major (4.5% of national votes at last election), not to mention the gaggle of micro-parties that get a few thousand votes every year. Or indies, that have managed to get elected in the past.

Heh....I live in the liberal haven of Texas....

However as a whole Texas is blood red state...

I live in Idaho.
I'm definitely liberal.
Enough said.

I'm an archconservative living in California. Obviously, California's got more than a proclivity for being Democrat and thus I'm often left as the sole voice of dissent in my college classes or social dealings. Couple that with my outspoken ideas regarding the repealing of the 21st amendment...and things get fun, quickly...

Can't vote yet, but once I'm old enough I'll most likely be voting NDP [Canadian Socialist Party]. I don't have a clue about my neighbours, and francly I couldn't care less about for who they vote.
Note: I am not in any means in favour of communisn, nor complete social equality, simply think the socialist have a much better platform than most parties.
