Your Shot: Visions of the World

The world is just awesome, as they say. Here's a thread to post photographs you have taken of nature, landscapes, cityscapes, or any other breathtaking visions of the world in which we live!


I'll start with some pictures taken while SCUBA diving in Honduras last November:

I was hoping for a thread like this.

Because of the 20 images per post limit, I'll try to minimize the number of pictures to post.

Last year, I went to the Aquarium of the Pacific for a class trip and took pictures with a camera that didn't have good resolution, so I picked the ones that did not look blurry and were interesting.

We got to go above one of the tanks and feed the tank which explains the above shot of the sea turtle.

I believe these are sand dollars.

They look like they are flying.

I believe these are moon jellies.

I believe that I took these (with a new camera) on or around Thanksgiving in Chinatown in downtown Los Angeles.

It's a baby praying mantis. I had to zoom a lot for this.

These pictures were taken at my university with the new camera.

This was taken with the old camera in the morning.

The building is my university's library. If it looks familiar, it is because it actually has appeared in some movies.
