Your vacations.

Did you go to a nice vacation(s) last summer, or going to go to a nice vacation(s) this summer? Post them here! I went to Niagra Falls last summer, but my family is unsure where to go for this summer.

I only went on what could be called a vacation in December. I was in New York a week before Christmas. Unfortunately, this was also the time frame of the transit strike and thus we ended up walking for what felt like miles in the middle of Manhattan. (We being myself, my sister, and her husband) We stayed in the Clarion hotel on Park Avenue. We were not that far away from the Empire State Building. We pretty much spent one day in Times Square, which was quite far away, and saw Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and a Broadway show. (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, starring John Lithgow) We also went to Rockefeller Center and saw the giant Christmas tree. The next day, we figured out how to use the tour bus to get to Chinatown, and then Battery Park, where we took the ferry to Liberty Island. We finally saw the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I don't usually go anywhere, so who knows what I'm doing this summer. We have planned far in the future, if it is possible, we will go to Disney World. This will be when my nephew turns 5. (He is still in my sister's tummy right now, but the due date is really soon)

I'm going on a trip to Turkey with my philosophy professor this summer.

I'm going to Yellowstone National Park this June.

Last summer, I went to Chicago and South Bend, Indiana (where I grew up). I would have liked to spend more time in South Bend, to visit all the old places I used to go, but alas, we only spent one day there.

I am going to Rio de Janeiro (again)
