If your character is from the returning cast you can just carry on from where you left off - if your character is new just start on Alveus, going about your daily routine or whatever.

---
{Semper}
God he was bored. He'd been through worse, sure; living on an island for a large portion of your life didn't exactly make for much in the way of excitement but this...this was boring.

The water sprayed upwards as the piece of wood was propelled forwards, the sheer force Semper's powers were using to push it forward making it move at an insane speed, considering it was just a bit of bark. He grimaced.

He could see Alveus from his position in the sea, smoke clouding the air above the island.

What the hell had happened?

He certainly couldn't remember leaving such a place as this behind. Clearly something had gone badly wrong.

---
{Cinna}
He growled, banging his head against his desk in sheer frustration.

"Goddamnit! Can't you people do anything right?" he yelled, anger amplifying his tone.

A murmur of irritation sounded from the rest of the room, but there was a visible increase in the pace at which the workers were typing, the speed at which they were dhouting commands down the headsets.

Cinna sighed.

---
{Tai}
She paused for a few seconds after grasping his hands.

"...wait. You can teleport? I thought you were a Presul?" she narrowed her eyes, confusion obvious.

If her assumptions were correct then it would take a heck of a lot longer to get to Alveus than she'd originally thought.

Well damn.

---
{Atrox}
In an instant she was mere metres away from the barrier seperating Alveus from the seas surrounding it, gazing through the pearly mist with a look of hesitation.

Did she really have to do this?

The Adduco seemed to not really be paying attention to the girl standing on the opposite side of the barrier to them, content just to idly watch her stand there.

Their guns were raised, sure, but they weren't overly hostile looking.

She rolled her eyes.

Yeah, she really had to do this.

(Jakku Ebansu)
Jakku panted.
He'd gotten angry with his team, so angry about what was happening on Alveus.
He knew he shouldn't have, but that'd been hours ago, and he now had no idea where they were.
He flapped his wings as he coasted over the ocean.
His back twinged, and he realised he'd overexerted himself. If he didn't get to the Mainland soon, he'd be dumped into the sea, with little energy left to swim.

(Kiba Mikamura)
Kiba sat back against one of the walls in the submarine.
"Hurry up, driver. If we can't get back to Alveus, everyone's screwed, not just the people living there."
He tapped out a simple rhythm on the large heavy machine gun he had lying on his lap.

Ooc: Edited Embers part to make it fit xD

{James}
James stood high above, on a rocky expanse on the mainland of Alveus, not far from where he originally left his gloves behind. Now he had oncemore donned his studded black gloves.
He had thrown away his flowing brown duster, now simply wearing his trousers with padding on the knees and a long sleeved shirt with shoulder and chestguard. On his back was a scoped rifle, extending above his left shoulder and on either side of his waist was a pistol and a sword, with an extra rapier, so clean it had to be newly acquired on his left side.
His blond hair, grown from the time on the islands, only slightly showed itself on his face from below the black bandana he now wore on his head, and his expression was one of grim determination.
He looked down at the large valley before him to keep an eye on the troop movement below and after a moment, he held the small radio transmitter he had in his left hand up to his mouth. He still wasn't used to the feeling of his shortened fingers, but he could still grab stuff, albeit awkwardly.
"Stealth is the key Kiba, they don't seem very focused down there." He said to the radio. As he waited for a reply, he looked at the slowly setting sun. Somewhere, something was burning. Something big, for the smoke cast an eery red hue over everything in Alveus the light touched...

{Ember}
"I know already! I came along didn't I?!" Snapped Ember back at Kiba.
Why the hell did that pilot teach ME how to move this damned thing.[i/] she thought angrily. If anyone wasn't suited to pilot an underwater vehicle, it'd be the fire elemental, so why teach her? Still, she figured out the basic controls before Kiba and Jakku did.
She cursed herself for not playing dumb - then maybe she'd have been the one out there scouting, not birdbrain or pilot-guy.
She checked the nautical chart in front of her quickly and was surprised there weren't any rough spots - James called them reefs - in their way to the shore, and then James radio'd in.
"So they're there after all huh... there goes the plan of just going in." She said, real disappointment in her voice, though most of it was because stealth meant they had to wait for the right moment, and waiting meant being in the submarine longer, and that was underwater.
And if there was one thing fire elementals hated - more then water elementals - it was being underwater.

(Jakku)
Jakku dragged himself onto a sandbank.
It was either misty or smoky... He had no idea where he was.
His energy had ran out from using his anima powers too much, and he'd had to land.
In retrospect, he was lucky he'd found anywhere.
He coughed up water for a little while, then tried to eat something from his satchel.
Soaked through.
Great...

(Kiba)
"Stealth is not my forte, but I have no idea where our stealth guy is, so I'll give it a shot."
He got to his feet, discarding the radio.
"Um, if you need me to... I kinda have an idea of how to steer the sub, if you're tired or claustrophobic or something."
Kiba said, trying to act kind.
He wasn't very good at it.

{Ember}
"Yes please," She said, exasperated. Not that that meant she'd get to leave the submarine, but she might be able to distract herself with something else. She pushed the button that activated auto-pilot, a handy feature that never bothered to take currents into account, so didn't work for long distances or rough seas, and didn't wait for Kiba to take the wheel as she half ran to the back and took the radio.
"Birdbrain is gone, any suggestions?" She asked the radio hopefully, instantly trying to submerse herself in thoughts of stealth and espionage to keep the water out of her mind.

{James}
He had begun his descent off the steep hillside, his right-hand gloves reinforced iron tips proving a valueble addition as that and the blade in his boot were the only things slowing his fall down as he slid down. He had switched his radio to hands-free mode, with a small microphone and earplug for audio, which had cost him quite a bit to acquire, but he still waited until he had ground under both his feet again before he replied.
"Just... Act. Act like you belong if you get questioned, be a rank high enough to warrant respect but low enough so you won't be bothered with questions. Maybe act like an adduco inspector of sorts, there are bound to be clothes in the sub." He said in hushed tones, cautious not to be overheard.

(Kiba)
Kiba took the wheel, boredly whistling.
Still, at least Ember seemed kinda happier...
He steadied the sub slightly, and kept her moving.

(Jakku)
He couldn't feel his feet.
Why couldn't he feel his feet...?
Jakku opened his eyes.
Oh... crap...
There was a tranquiliser dart in his wing.
Jakku slumped the short way to the ground, and lay face-down in the sand.

Cole Jacobson lay on the edge of a cliff, looking down at a mansion. He'd heard a rumor that the mansion was where a small group of Adduco had been developing a war machine, and it turned out it was true. As Cole watched, an Adduco walked out the doors of the building, seemingly standing guard.

Cole pulled his rifle out of a spot hidden by his cape and aimed at the Adduco. Of course, stealth was the key, and as such Cole had added a silencer to the end of the gun. With a muffled noise, a bullet was shot out of the rifle and the Adduco collapsed to the ground.

Cole stood, sighing and putting his gun away. One down, a dozen more to go. He pulled out a few throwing knives, tossing them idly between his hands as he examined the mansion.

Being able to rip things from existence was a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it gave Cole a power stronger than most could imagine. On the other hand, most things came back after a short delay, and when Cole did muster the power to destroy something forever, it made him extremely dizzy and he usually passed out within seconds of destroying it.

It was because of this that Cole weighed his options. He could destroy the mansion completely, severely delaying both his and the Adduco here's progress, or he could destroy it for a few minutes, kill everyone inside, and continue on.

Cole raised a hand, and tendrils of black smoke curled from his fingers. They spread into the air and touched the mansion, and its form flickered for a second before disappearing entirely.

Whistling, Cole climbed down the small cliff and headed over to where the mansion had been, readying his knives. It was about to get pretty ugly. After all, the Adduco had themselves, and they had whatever war machine they were developing.

And Cole only had himself, as he'd gone on this mission alone.

Gary let out his time energy and he and Tai were down the mists of time, tumbling through the vortex. He suddenly felt his feet land in some sort of substance. Water. He let out a scream as he hit the tumbling waves, sinking down, still holding Tai's hand. He swam to the surface, gasping for air.
"Shit! I dunno what happened! I was gonna go back to when we were with Jakku but, this is weird! This never happened before! I dunno-" He coughed out some water- "What's goin' on! We're in the sea for god's sake!"
He couldn't make sense of this sudden appiration. Why were they in the sea? His abilities were time efficient, capable of taking him to anywhere he'd been before. Then what was going on?

Benito Sudario, otherwise known as Zaar, was...well, he wasn't really doing anything. That was the real problem. Boredom unfortunately reared its head more often than he would like, and when he was bored, he tended to attempt to alleviate said boredom by his own methods.

He was quick to notice what appeared to be a mansion of some fashion, with Adduco going in and out. He also noticed someone who was preparing to storm said mansion. A grin quickly spread on Zaar's face. This could get interesting. Even more so if he were to...drop in for a quick visit. With that objective in mind, he ran towards the building, making sure that he wouldn't be seen. He wouldn't be an idiot and charge through the front doors. No, he would use a more inconspicuous method of entrance.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Josef Kaiser was practicing. He was practicing his powers. Alone. He didn't like people. They had a tendency to try and kill him. Although, with his newly obtained arcane skills, perhaps that situation could be inverted.
Josef heard a noise, and immediately threw almost a dozen fireballs at what he guessed was the source of the noise. But there wasn't anything there. Muttering unintelligibly to himself, he continued training. The war was beginning to ramp up. And he wanted to make certain that the war wouldn't be brought to him.
He would go straight to the war.
(Jakku)
Jakku's eyes flashed.
He finally managed to keep them open for more than a few seconds, and tried to get up.
His mouth was gagged, and his wings, arms and legs were bound.
He mentally cursed, and noticed the Adduco drivers of the boat he'd been captured by.
It was a small patrol vessel, which was good, in that he'd gotten close to land.
It was bad in the fact that if they decided to take him to the Capital for questioning, he could be there within the day.
He again tried to struggle into a sitting position, but was overtaken by massive headspins.
He slumped again, unconscious.
(Kiba)
Kiba was bored now. Steering was only fun during battle, he reasoned.
He tapped AutoPilot, and began to play with his gun again, reloading the cartridges faster than most people could blink with his natural Adduco ability.
"Hey Ember, how's the spy?"
{Tai}
Tai swore loudly and obnoxiously as she hit the water, flailing wildly as Gary's weight pulled her rapidly underwater, before she was yanked back up to the surface as he propelled himself upwards. She coughed, spitting out blood and water (she assumed she'd hit her head on her board or something whilst falling), before frowning.
"I feel incredibly confused," she commented, shoving her board underneath her and roughly slamming her foot down on it so it hovered just above the water.
After double-checking that it wouldn't suddenly drop her back into the sea again at a given moment in time she sat down on it, her feet dangling in the water.
Gary spat out a glob of water.
"I dunno what happened! I was gonna go back in time to when you ran off so we could stick with Jakku but somethin' happened!"
He shook his head of water, blinking rapidly.
"Couldn't get us out could you?"
{James}
A waste... Was all he thought while he looked trough his scope, picking a target with his rifle.
He kept jumping from face to face, still having trouble shooting someone in the face who looked so young - the brunt of these forces couldn't be much older then 16.
Then finally his crosshairs found a target in the form of a man with a mustache, which he guessed was a commanding officer at the way he jerked his arms in several directions while shouting something, probably orders.
He took aim, adjusting his weapon for the winds and distance, and fired.
{Ember}
"I dunno, he's been quiet. Lemme check." She said sighing. She put the radio to her ears just in time to wish she hadn't. It took all her self control not to throw the damned thing as a loud 'bang' sound exploded from the speakers.
"Ow." She said dryly, though her eyes were closed and her hand was on her ear.
"Don't think I'll be hearing much from that one for a while." She said unhappily.
"Think the radio's busted?" She asked finally, mistaking the gunshot for the radio breaking.
{Tai}
Sighing to herself as though the effort required to fulfill such a menial task would be the death of her she reached down to pull Gary out of the water.
"I'll scan the minds of those in the direct area to see if James and Kiba and whoever else are anywhere near here."
Grinning she began to loosen her grip on the barriers enclosing her mind, gradually removing them so that her conciousness seeped into the general area, seeking out other humans. Or, at least, she tried to, only to find it wasn't really working.
She frowned.
"Everything's really faint - like there's static blocking my signal."
Gary gasped, looking around for some sign of civillisation.
"We must be near the mainland of Alveus. They got those energy shields remember! They're blockin' our powers."
He looked at Tai, as if for the first time and saw that she was bleeding.
"Here." he said, handing her his jacket.
(Kiba)
"That noise was the sound of an Adduco 120-EF3 Sniper Rifle firing. Our spy's getting rid of the opposition."
Kiba pointed out, without looking away from the controls.
"Either way, I doubt we'll be hearing much, if he's trying to dodge the people who are looking for whoever just shot their commanding officer or something..."
Kiba leant on the wheel, ready for a wait.
(Jakku)
All he could hear was vehicle movement.
He knew he was getting close to the mainland, and his death, but every time he opened his eyes, he would weaken again, and fall unconscious.
Damnit... I feel like I've been poisoned...
"So where'd that Domovoi guy go?" Eliot asks, drinking tea.
"Search me." Evan asks. "Anyway, who's up for going back to the mainland and killing some bad guys?"
"Fine by me," responded Jeremy.
"Yes please!" an exited Mary exclaimed.
"Whatev," Jason stated.
"Sounds like a plan to me." Elsea said.
Miami didn't look thrilled at the idea, but remained silent.
Hailey peered out of the bushes and watched the group in front of her decide upon their plans.
Mainland huh? That might be intresting. The main question is if they'll let me hitch a ride...
{Tai}
"Thanks," Tai responded, shooting Gary a quick grin as she threw it on.
"I say we head in, then - see what's up. Being so close to the shields is mucking up the signal for my earpiece, so I can't contact the rest of the Resistance or anything. We have no way of knowing what's going on in there."
ooc;; sorry for the inactivity - I've been up in Leeds since Wednesday for a mathematics challenge at Edgehill University. But now I'm back :D
