Nope, only the lil things you can do to get more money. i will never hate on anyone gettin there cash. I just want the viewers to be more aware of what you are watching. And why the majority of small and large youtubers do what they do in there videos.

When I say youtube is dying, I am speaking of the lack of creativity. Everyone seems to be doing the same thing. I was shocked and surprised to see that so little people actually post videos that make you go...."DAMN, that really made me re-think how Im living."

Im not saying that every video U do, must be life altering. But everyonce in a while; make something that will change peoples perspective on life or how they operate and things of that nature.

This video was also my way of tryin to get the word out that the way youtube is operating, isnt bringing in the money they thought. You can read plenty of stories of how this site makes no money. Well maybe its time to change it up.

There are plenty of people who have less than 20,000 views who are good, that dont get any attention. I feel if more people were included the site would be racking in the dough.

I acknowledge that I do get video features, and I have seen success, on and way from youtube. but my situation is EXTREMELY rare. i dont really follow the suggestions of youtube, and have done pretty well for myself. But the reality is, that if you dont follow there suggestions you might not be able to have a chance to do well here. And I just find that slightly wrong

One day I will post a video, of how much money partners get, and how there is actually more money away from youtube, than actually on it.

At the end of the day, the facts are out there. Im not hiding behind anything. i can say, I read alot of materials..and came to my own conclusion on what was really being said.

lol I posted a blog about it when he released the vid...a few YouTuber's responded but YouTube started to go down the drain a long ass time ago.

This seems like old news, that was kind of un-spoken knowledge from year one. xD; People follow the trends to get popular, and therefore.. so many videos are the same pointless things.

I really think that YouTube's main problem is forgetting exactly what "fair use" means (though that could be mostly Warner/Google's fault, but still...).

People DO upload porn on YouTube as I've seen it happen, but they get taken down quickly. YT is trying to be all PG and ABSOLUTELY NO COPYRIGHTS.. >_>
 
YouTube was dead from the beginning. is some of the stuff funny? yes. Is it meant to change lives? I don't think so. YT's purpose, as far as I know, is to entertain with a million videos.

I love some of the videos. I'd kind of like to make some myself, so I set up an account there. (Although I have yet to upload any videos... the irony <_<)

The videos? Good. The users? NO.

The one thing that continues to keep YT from true greatness is the absolute retardedness of its users. I see some of the most unintelligent, discriminative, and disrespectful comments coming from the shit sacks that YT's users call mouths.

Like so:
"this is a good song but this will never be better than rap... if you minus this comment ur gay/nerdy for life" - on a video of "Open Your Heart" from the Sonic Adventure soundtrack

"dave mustaine sounds like he raped a dolphin and if you don't agree YOU CAN EAT A BAG OF SHIT (Slayer)" - on a video of "Hangar 18" by Megadeth

Not to mention that a certain user named Metallicarulez01 and his metalhead buddies constantly behave like asshats to rap/pop fans... I don't think I need to tell you what kind of insults they spew every day.

Worst of all, over half of the sites users are some of the worst people on the planet:
Homophobics. Also religion-based bigots, Nazi-like assholes, and a bunch of other shit.

It sickens me to no end. It's why I always screen comments to where the site only shows the ones that get +10 or more.
 
^And that's just the music. There are some fanbases on YT that breed really weird comments, such as one of the internet's current favourite groups to abuse: Twilight fans. Don't get me wrong, I've got friends who are fans of the series, but at least they aren't stupid about it. But then on YT, you find gems from the crazy ones like this:

The sad thing is that that one is pretty tame compared to some of other ones on the site....
 
Well I'd just like to say as an avid kendo fan, Youtube is my best friend. Without it, there would be almost no way for me to see matches from any of the major tournaments, or any matches at all really. There are also many excellent things that came from youtube that I am a very big fan of now, that could not really have any substitute in the mainstream media, like Zack Kim and Confused Matthew for example.

Do people make idiotic/racist/insulting comments on youtube? Of course they do. Welcome to the internet. There are also a lot of people who make constructive/insightful/funny comments.

So is youtube going down the drain? I don't really think it is. Maybe promoted and featured videos are getting stale, but I don't pay attention to them anyway. I still consistently see quality stuff on youtube, and I suspect that I will continue to see high quality stuff just because of the sheer size of the site and the amount of talent that no doubt is out there.

-The comment section as mentioned by others. But what really sets me off is that I doubt they are adults but all whiny sniveling sons of bitches that are the 13 year old denizens of the internet. It scares me to think that these are the kids in the younger ages of my generation, the ones that think its cool to hate on races or such. I hope to god its just cause they think its the internet and its cool and they don't think that stuff can pass for real life.

Thank god for AdBlock, but I am not exactly keen to having my internet break down for 3 days having to go to an internet cafe only to have my limited hour go down the drain for ads. Also anyone can money as long as they are viewed. A prime example is this Giancarlo11whateverthehellhisnameis, which basically got a bunch of fake info on HgSs, scammed hundreds upon thousands of youtwats, got his views, got his subscriptions, and continued with fake videos. He never said or did anything to show that he did get money but with the amount of views and subscribers he had of course he did.
-The god damn lag and its god damn annoying speeds. Youtube is getting way to popular way to fast for its own good. Its become slower and slower, and now with true HD good lord is it going to get slow.
-IDIOTS. Thing is a damn cespool of em. And great bloody lord now I can watch the ones that cry and make fools of themselves, or those who like their own little religion rants in TRUE HD! Yay, I'll go grab my gun so we can blow our brains out!

So if you have adblock, then what's the problem? How is people making money of any consequence of you if they make good videos? If they're not making good videos, then why are you watching them in the first place?

I've been on the internet for 3 whole years dammit I don't need any introductions to it. The problem with the Ads is the fact that when my internet is down and I go out to internet cafe's I do not expect my time to be wasted on ads instead of videos. And if I'm so annoyed by the videos...well lets see, I want to listen to a track or two not find the audio replaced after 2 freaking minutes.
 
Internet users will be internet users, so I could care less about the comments. Only two things upset me, first, videos about absolute SHIT can get millions of views in a matter of minutes and good quality videos get none, and some get taken down for BS reasons. Second, I don't mind the ad spamming, but I do mind that it takes half an hour to watch a five minute video, they should not be earning money form shit service, it's like they went to a business seminar sponsored by Comcast.
