Imagine you have just won one million pounds/dollars/euros etc on the lottery. What is your first thought? How do you plan to spend it? Will you save it, give some/all to charity or waste it away within the first year? :ching:

Buy house, end. Lol. Na I would also give some to my mom to fix the house up good. Some to my dad because why not and some to my sis for her study.

Then I will just save the rest up, pretty boring.

Id want to give at least some to charity. Id probably donate a nice amount to my local no kill animal shelter and some other charities and then save most of the rest. I might buy myself some nice stuff maybe travel some because realistically yes if I had that much money, Id be spending some. If I won the lottery now Id give some to my parents and they could fix all our house problems and stuff, and hopefully they'd save some too.

Me? I'd give some to charity, and like the rest, spend and save, and share with family members

I'd spread it out a bit. Some of it I'd keep for a rainy day, I'd give a considerable amount to charity, and then I'd use the other money for buying a trip to America and England to visit my friends. Then I'd probably give my sister some to go towards her wedding fund, I suppose.

Nothing would happen. I'd have read the lottery ticket incorrectly, told everyone that I won, and looked like a major ass when the actual winner accepted the check.

Honestly, I'd give a lot of it to my church, pay a bunch of my tithes with it. Then, I'd try my best to help my family out, before paying off my car, and finding an apartment. Finally, I'd adopt me a few cats.

Put it in all in the bank and let the interest work for me. id invest in some companys, buy myself some nice things and still save the rest

Spend, save, travel, and give some to charity.

Invest in property, invest in some shares, buy a new car and then save the rest.

Some of it would go to my and my brother's education. I'd also buy land or buildings and save a portion of it in the bank for the future. I'd also share the fortune with my family, and on that note, go on a trip with my family too.

Develop a 100% safe alternative to steroids that don't affect your masculinity or health, then make even more money out of it lol

i'd be able to pay for college without any worries. after graduating, i'd donate a sizable amount to charity and then save the rest and wonder how to spend it. actually i guess i'd give a decent amount to my mother so that she can do whatever she wants.

after that i'd save like half of my money. with the rest, i'd spend some time to travel and find new things to appreciate and love about the world before i get a job, especially since i'm sick of staying in the midwest at this point! that's something that i'd want to do in my youth instead of in my old age, when i might not even be able-bodied.

[this isn't by any means supposed to sound entitled, but sorry if it does]

I'd build myself a personal library. If there isn't an emergency of some sort that needs funding (i.e. a sick family member, debt), and along with designating a sizable sum for college (for me and my sister), that would be my first priority.

After that...I don't know, since I'd probably already be content, I'd put the majority of what's left in a bank, or, with some assistance, invest it. Or maybe give to a charity.

Save it. Maybe invest some of it, and buy shares, but mainly save it. I might buy a few small luxuries with it, like a new phone or a camera or something.

After winning the lottery, the first thing I would do is get diagnosis and treatment that has been elusive for years.

$75,000 of it would go straight to my favorite charity.

After that, I would buy DVDs I don't have, Pokemon Plushies, and then the rest would be stored away to not spend it all at once.

Gonna answer my own question :b

My priorites would be paying off all mine and my families' debt. I'd maybe buy a new house if I had enough money. I'd treat my mum, buying her one of those electronic beds. She has athritis and would really appreciate more comfortable living conditions. I'd save the brunt of it and if I had enough money left over, i'd donate some to charity. Particularly animal charities.
