Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia! Here, every single Yu-Gi-Oh! series to this point will be represented by at least one character. The roles were chosen based on my favorite characters
Plot/Basic Storyline/Attempt at Making Sense of This
Time and space are blurred in this strange land. A place where duel spirits roam freely, not confined to the confines of cards. Some voices among the group recognize this desolate land from their time combating the Supreme King. Everyone is left to wonder how they arrived in this place.
One thing is certain: Nobody will be able to make it through this alone.
Resources are slim, and though some of the duel spirits wandering around are quite harmless, many are not, ready to take on the duelists who suddenly – unwillingly – invaded their land.
To make matters worse, a small faction of duelists was quickly separated from the other humans, lured away by some of the more intelligent duel spirits.
Threatening to kill the loved ones and friends of those close to them, the spirits forced a deal upon the group. It was either kill, or watch your close relations be killed.
They chose the former.
This group hoped that an opportunity to overthrow the monsters would arise eventually, and until then, they would have to do their bidding. Those strong in spirit would be first on the list to be eliminated, but their identities were left secret until necessary, the duel spirits unwilling to give any more information than necessary to their newfound assassins.
The other group was merely hoping to survive at this point, staying close to those they recognized. In time, they hoped that – however they had arrived here – a way back to their assorted time periods and homes would appear.
In no time at all, the duelists would be turned against one another in a battle for survival, where 0 LP would mean an extinguished life.

1) I would really like to see activity from my players in this game. If you feel that you will not be able to maintain an acceptable level of activity, then you may wish to consider signing up as a sub rather than an initial player.
2) Things that will get you modkilled:
3) Screenshots/screencaps of PMs are totally okay, as long as they are not of PMs from me. It is also permissible to fake a screenshot.
4) Let’s keep things civil here. I know from personal experience that it is easy to get a little wild in debates, but please try to remember that this is a game.
5) When placing your vote, do so in the format of VOTE: Username, using bold on the vote. To unvote, use the format of UNVOTE: Username.
6) No mass-claiming, and this includes both ability- and name-claiming. Don’t let a situation arise where one person is suddenly taking up everyone’s claims, nor let everyone all of a sudden claim in-thread. That’s just no fun, for me or for you guys. However, it is fine to have accumulated many claims over time. As long as it doesn’t all happen at once is what matters to me.
7) Again, I need to be able to see all mafia related conversations, whether they be PMs, QTs, whatever.
8) If you change your username (or, Arceus forbid, some new bandwagon starts), please notify me in-thread of the change. Because I am HORRIBLE with name changes.
9) You are allowed one “death post,” of which nothing informative should be posted. After dying, please do not “like” any informative posts in this thread either, for obvious reasons.
10) I will send out result PMs for actions directly AFTER the phase has ended. So don’t panic about it if you haven’t gotten it during the phase.
11) Phases last the usual 24 hours, and I intend to update around 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time. If I cannot, I will notify everyone in thread, in the case of a delay.
12) As the host, I reserve the right to make alterations /changes to the rules at any time (but I probably won’t).
To prove that you have read the rules, please end your sign-up post with five exclamation points for punctuationand say that Tron is awesome.
a. On that note, if you are inactive (not posting in-thread) for more than 3 phases, then I will sub you out. You will be warned prior to that happening.
2) Things that will get you modkilled:
a. Do NOT directly reveal your role PM, whether it be through direct quotations or through a screencapture.
b. Not including me as a recipient for PMs and QTs. Basically, if you’re going to talk about the game anywhere other than in-thread, I need to be able to see it. Add me in the recipient slot in PMs. If I find out that things have been happening in secret, I’ll have to modkill you.
c. Flaming, baiting, yada yada. You guys know the drill. Don’t purposely try to piss people off is the gist of this. Use common sense in determining how much is too far in arguments and all that.
d. Intentionally playing against your win condition. Things are more fun when everyone is playing to win. If it seems like you are trying to lose on purpose, I will send you a PM to ask you about it. No immediate modkills, but please do your best to win, regardless of win conditions.
3) Screenshots/screencaps of PMs are totally okay, as long as they are not of PMs from me. It is also permissible to fake a screenshot.

Now, I’m going to say this separately, just to be absolutely sure everyone reads it. NAMECLAIMING IS ALLOWED. It is perfectly acceptable.
Why, you may ask? Because nobody knows what 25 characters are my favorites, and thus, nobody knows out of the bajillion Yu-Gi-Oh! characters who all is accounted for. Some are obvious, yes, but then there are always counter-claims and all that crap, so I’m totally fine with that.
Also – and this is important – character affiliations DO NOT affect their alignment in this game. All alignments were randomly chosen with a RNG. So knowing which character someone is does not tell you their alignment at all. However, there are ways to gain info from nameclaims…
In addition, sometimes role PMs and/or flavor text will mention characters who are not present in the game. Just keep that in mind, as just because a character is mentioned, it does not confirm that they are a role in this game.
