Yu-Gi-Oh GX! - Major Spoilers

Hey...well...i'm sure alot of ya kno the new series of Yu-Gi-Oh which is called Yu-Gi-Oh GX!

which has now gone up to at this moments ep 61...

YAY! A GX thread
I'm totally in love with this show right now~! I've seen up to the most recent in Japan (*Episode 62*) and my favorite character is Juudai, I love his carefree happiness :3 Though he hasn't been much in the way of happy recently XD;;

I can't wait to see where this new season takes us :3 It's shaping up to be pretty intresting.

Also talking of GX the first OST comes out in January (*Which I am so gonna get!*) I'm also expecting the 3rd duel box to come next week, I've been scanning the art and stuff from those :3

I've seen about 12 episodes from the dub, episodes 1-9 episode 14-15 and episode 20, I only watch them when i can do a comparison for them. I compare the dub to screenshots I take to pick out the slightest cut or edit, I do it mostly for fun really. I have a "so-so" reaction to the dub, some things annoy me, where as some of the lines in the dub are just pure hillarious XD

so what's the background story on it?
I saw one episode when some kid takes Yugi's deck and he thinks he's the guy haha

Yugi's famous, and is king of games

so when does this take place? when and where

This takes place around 5-10 years after the last series, no one knows the exact amount of time that's passed, although I'd say it's closer to around 5-8, based on a flashback in a recent episode where Juudai/Jaden was about 7-10 and Kaiba and Mokuba looked exactly like they did back in the last series, so we assume that flashback took place during that series, if not a few months after it ended.

Anyway the story is basiclly about kids who go to a dueling school and that's pretty much it for the first 28 or so episodes, the episodes are random, yet hillarious and basiclly are just introducing the characters, their decks and letting them grow a little. Episodes 29-49 introduce an actual storyline for them, which started out good but didn't really end all that great, they hyped it up a bit too much for the ending it was given I think. The next real arc starts at episode 53 and so far it's looking promising :3

The school it's self is said to belong to Kaiba.
