Arunafeltz is the floating kingdom, high in the clouds. It is also the location of the world most famous dueling academy. Arunafeltz is a floating kingdom surrounded with three floating islands – the glorious island Clardona, island of intelligence Juno, and island of prosperity Lighthalzen. The high technology and magic is what allows this man made islands to exist. The island of intelligence is where the Students learns to become a true Duelist in the 'Dueling Academy'. Dueling academy is a huge, quite elegant-looking gothic styled castle, with many towers. The castle has extensive grounds with sloping lawns, flowerbeds and vegetable patches. This island is also called the island of wise men, since the grand library- the library that holds all knowledge in the world is located here.
The island of glory, Clardona, is where the dorms located. There's a lake called 'Summer Night Breeze' in the island. The lake is the most beautiful place in the Arunafeltz Kingdom.
The island of prosperity, Lighthalzen, is where the teachers resides and a popular hanging spot or dueling places. There's a place called the Battle Plaza, and this place is where you could see all kinds of duelist. Lighthalzen is the biggest island.

Along with the acceptance letter, first year students are sent a list of required equipment which includes a deck, subject books, and standard Duel Disk.
In order to get to Arunafeltz, you must go to Domino City and take a flight to Arunafeltz.

"You sure this is the place, The-Man-Who-Might-Be-Father?" A pirate kid said, unsure, scratching the back of his neck nervously as he looked at the people on Domino City Airport
"I'm pretty sure." A pirate says, handing an acceptance letter and give his son a playful push so he'll board the plane soon
"Aye, then." The boy says, taking the acceptance letter with a sigh and walked away from his father,
"Yo Trent!" Trent's dad, yelled

Trent turned his back to look at his father one last time "I got my deck already, sheesh."

"... Well then off you go. Go go. shoo!" His dad chuckled and took out a rum from his waistbag and chugged it down.
 
Yui looked at the scene with the two pirates. "Well, that's one person I'll be meeting here..." He weakly smiled. "But it's dueling...who says pirates can't?"
He then started rummaging through his bag, trying to find his acceptance letter. After a minute, he found it, crumpled by the weight of his subject books. "My duel disk? Check," he said, patting the blue-and-white Duel Disk on his arm. "And deck?" He took out his deck from his slot, and looked through it, making sure that all of his Machines were there, finally coming to a tank-like monster. "Check. Well, Fortress, let's get started!" He ran inside.
 
Shingo spotted the pirates and smiled to himself. " Seems like yesterday I was reading a mouth full of books about them." He said to himself. His black and white duel disk laid safely on shingo's arm. Shingo held his acceptance letter in his hand. " Ate breakfast, dueled, now to here." He said. He Began to walk inside.
 
"Pardon me" Tye uttered as he pushed through the crowd and what he would soon know as 3 other students. He quickly glanced at his duel disk to make sure he wasn't hitting anyone. The dark purple edging gleamed in the light as it accented the main black body of the disk. Etched into the disk just under the life points it read "Shade", the name he had bestowed upon his prized possesion. Tye's parents had bought it for him just before...just before it happened. That "it" was the reason he was left alone in the world, his own life was the only one he had left. He continued to push his way through the crowd, his deck box hung on his hip and messenger bag from his shoulder. As he broke free on the other side of the crowd he whispered "Finally made it", with that he took his first steps on to the plane and closer to the Duel Academy...

A few minutes later, Yui was inside the airport eating a cheeseburger. "I wonder when the plane's going to leave," he said after he swallowed a bite of his burger. "There's probably a lot of duelists there, so this'll be fun..."

Sharda:

"Well, let's get going," Sahrda said to herself, trying to find the acceptance letter in her clutter of papers, "I need to know what plane to get on first, I swear, with all these people here, you would expect the airport to be a city. Finally finding the paper, Sharda hurries off to the plane, and finds the first seat that is open. Upon getting on the plane, she decided to sit next to the person closest to the door.

Upon sitting down, Sharda said to the person, "Hello, how are you today."

(OOC: I do leave a lot of open lines like that for anyone to jump into, if they want.)
 
Yui realized that the plane was boarding. He thought-swore, and (cramming the last few bites of his cheeseburger in his mouth) ran off to the loading zone (or whatever its called), showed the guy his letter, rushed on the plane, and sat down (unknowingly) to a girl, panting.

OOC: Can't keep a guy away from his burger.
 
"Hello there, my name is Sharda, what is yours kind sir?" Sharda said to the man that jsut rushed next to her, "I actually just started playing yu-gi-oh last year, though I actually have a very good deck on me." Sharda continued on, waiting for the plane to go, "It seems that I am one of the only girls here, why is that?"
 
Yui's eyes bugged out as he came to realize that a (pretty) lady was sitting next to him. "Uh...my name's Yui Katano. "I dunno why you're one of the only girls here. I guess a lot of girls don't really like Duel Monsters. I'd offer to duel you, but I don't think it's a good idea on a plane."

OOC: I'm calling it Duel Monsters as it seems to be the name of the game in this world.
 
"I don't think that it is a good Idea either, though once we land, I would love to battle you, Though, I do suggest you beware of my deck, not much damages me nowadays." Sharda finished of, while she was waiting for the plane to land, she decided to get her duel disk out of her bag, along with her deck, "These are my trusty partners, I call my deck AP, for Absolute Prevention, and my duel disk I call Little Angel, because since I got this, I have rarely had to touch it for damage."
 
Yui took a few seconds to process the paragraph Sharda just said. Once he did, he groaned, thinking that a deck called 'Absolute Prevention' could prevent everything his mechanical deck could throw at her, even the might of Machina Force and Twin Cyber Dragon. If he could even SUMMON the two, it would be a miracle...
 
"I think I know what you are thinking, and no, it does not prevent anything and everything, just damage really. Only one suggestion for you though, don't get on my bad side in battle." Sharda reassured Yui, once she saw the surprised look in his eyes, "Whenever someone gets on my bad side for battle, they normally pay with a 5000 life point deduction from my star monster."
 
Yui sighed with relief. He was still worried (star monster? He didn't know what it was, but 5000 Life Points? OW), but nothing a lot of monsters couldn't fix. After all, a Trap or Spell that negated damage could only be used once, right?
 
Shingo Slowly walked into the plane. " Pain, without love." Shingo hummed. He moved through the crowd quietly, he spotted a boy with a duel disk as he entered. He took a deep breath when he entered the plane, he calmed took his seat and relaxed. He glanced around looking for someone to duel or talk to to pass the time. He spotted a girl and boy chatting and smiled. He pulled a black hard leather case out of his backpack and opened it up. He pulled out his deck from the case and smiled. He looked at the black card in the front of his deck and grinned.
 
Yui noticed a guy who walked by. Turning around, he yelled "Hey, guy! Are you going to the Arunafeltz Dueling Academy?"
 
"..... Nyah.. I hate planes. I prefer ships." Trent muttered, sitting on a chair inside the plane.
A machine this big could fly? Nah, he doesn't believe it. He always hates flying. Especially when there's a lot of people inside. He always prefer ships, since he was a pirate.

"Have we even lifted off yet?" Yui asked impatiently. He was so close to where he could learn to duel and learn to use his Machines to the best extent...and was about to die of boredom.
 
"I thought I felt the plane lift, but I might have just been feeling things, so, I think the plane is actually still on the ground, since people are still getting on." Sharda said to Yui, and then turned to face the other two people that jsut appeared, "Hello, My name is Sharda Dragon, it is nice to meet you."
 
"Huh? Oh," Yui said, noticing the pirate guy from earlier. "I saw you earlier. My name is Yui Katano. And yours?"
