Yveltal joins the fray in Pokémon UNITE — Obtain its Unite License via the Yveltal Onslaught event till July 28th

Yveltal is the latest Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE. Yveltal is a Ranged Attacker with Novice difficulty that deals Special damage. Players can obtain Yveltal's Unite license via the Yveltal's Adventure Challenge event until DATE, where they can complete missions to obtain special coins which can be exchanged for a variety of prizes. Players can also use the code YVELTAL in the in-game gift exchange to receive a 3-day rental license for Yveltal. Yveltal is the first of four Legendary Pokémon coming to Aeos Island as part of Pokémon UNITE's 5th Anniversary.

Yveltal Moves Overview​

Yveltal has the ability Dark Aura, which increases a destruction counter for a Pokémon hit by the user's moves, with higher destruction counters increasing the damage received. Pokémon with maxed destruction counters are immediately knocked out if they end up with below a certain HP after being hit by the user's moves. When the user knocks out an opponent, its own HP is restored and a set percentage over the max is converted to a shield.

Yveltal's first move slot consists of Gust, which can upgrade into Oblivion Wing. Gust deals damage to opponents with a gust of wind, leaving behind a breeze which deals damage over time in the area of effect. Oblivion Wing unleashes a destructive ray and restores the user's HP based on the damage dealt, with a set percentage over the max being converted to a shield.

Yveltal's second move slot consists of Lash Out, which can upgrade into Dark Pulse. Lash Out deals damage over time and leaves opponents unable to act. Dark Pulse unleashes a malicious orb which damages opponents and leaves them unable to act. The orb also detonates, dealing damage over time and slowing Pokémon in the area of effect.

Yveltal's Unite Move is Lumière of Demise. The user fires a violent beam of light, damaging opponents continuously in the beam's area of effect. Afterward, it creates an explosion, dealing increased damage to opponents. While firing the beam, the user cannot be hindered.
