I can't believe there's such a big glitch in B2/W2! It's so big, it even jeopardizes meeting the other in-game events (Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem, White Kyurem). Hopefully, this gets corrected in future releases of the game and especially in the English release. Read more about it here and how to avoid it:
All About Pokemon Figure (AAPF): Zoroark Frozen Bug in Pokemon BW2

Side Note: What's a problem founder (Located under [ Current Progress ]). Is there actually an official founder of problems at Nintendo or do they mean the person who "found" the problem?

Yeah, good job on blowing smoke out your rear ends, Gamefreak.

I'm guessing releasing this in the summer instead of the fall had something to do with this. :/

Since Game Freak has patched glitches in future releases, I'm wondering whether the international BW release won't only fix this, but also Skyla's sprite, as well as setting the genders in the Pokemon World Tournament. It's kind of weird when you have someone like Red who is obviously using his HgSs team, and then have genders randomized as if it was any normal battle facility (oh and not to mention the lack of effort in integrating the new tutor moves and DW abilities into the Battle Subway).

Just as people appreciate the little details Game Freak puts in, these minor (well the Zoroark one isn't minor) errors just make the experience less fun than it should be.

@TaiChiChasers;
Given by how bad the English is, I doubt this article was written by a native speaker, so I'd say its the person who found the problem. Hopefully they can do something about this before the English release. I can live with the screw-up on Skyla's sprite and the PWT genders, but this is something that definitely needs addressing.

I prefer to think of this bug as being intentional. Zoroark gives the player a chance to come to N's Castle, they show lack of resolve by hesitating, and thus Zoroark refuses to give them another chance. Consequently, N keeps his dragon and waits for Hilbert/Hilda to return so that they can restore the original dragon together.

It's a better ending than the supposedly canon one.

I don't understand, I read page linked to in the OP, but I still don't understand what this glitch does and how you make it happen. Can someone explain?

After seeing the credits, Hugh's sister tells you a Zoroark is waiting for you in Victory Road.
The Zoroark blocks your path until you get close, then runs further in. If you follow it, then decide for whatever reason to abandon it, when you go back there it'll be back blocking your path, only this time it won't run away to let you pass.

Try writing a game this large yourself and then try to say that again. Sure, this is an error that shouldn't have been made, but neither the programmers or the quality assurance team are perfect humans. It's just outright impossible to write a perfect, error-free program in this scale, nor it is possible to test every single thing a player might do. From what I've seen, it is still a very impressive game with nice improvements over the original BW.

Not following Zoroark is a pretty big oversight that you'd think their bug testing team would have caught. It's not as if its some unnatural sequence of events like trying to use Surf on a wall or having a Pokemon use transform on an opponent that knows Rage, use rage, and on the turn rage is building, end the battle by defeating the opponent, or an incredibly convoluted event that results in the appearance of a Pokemon that shouldn't be in the game in the first place. No, it is not possible to test every possible thing a player might do, but it is within the realms of reasonable expectations that Game Freak would test the obvious. From the description, this isn't an obviously difficult glitch to trigger, and no glitch in Gen I, the glitchiest game ever, even comes close to being this easy to encounter. The trigger is simply "walking away"

Then, there's also Skyla's sprite, which was really obvious as well which you'd think someone would have caught if they were, in fact, playing the game.

This sorta reminds me of that bug from Skyward Sword, minus the part that it makes the games unbeatable without restarting everything, and the glitch in D/P used to catch Darkrai and Shaymin. Now I'm very cautious of trying to catch a good-natured Zoroark without triggering the bug.

You have no idea how this bug is triggered do you >_>

Somewhat? It's very obvious how this glitch is triggered, and is explained in clearer terms later in this thread. You can't trigger it from trying to catch a Zoroark because:

1) The Zoroark that triggers it is part of a per-determined event that can't be caught

2) Zoroark isn't even caught in the wild

It's like hearing about the Surf-through-walls glitch, and then resolving never to use surf again. It has nothing to do with capturing Zoroarks. Completely ridiculous.

Wait, you mean you can't catch the Zoroark you're following?

Nope, it's N's Zoroark. The only Zorua/Zoroark you get in the games is the Zorua given to you by Rood.

Wait, you mean you can't catch the Zoroark you're following?
No, it belongs to N. There are no catchable Zoroark in B2W2.
Infact, there's a surfable tree in B2W2 too.

So that's what that image was about on Facebook. I saw Pokejungle post it, with no explanation. I had simply thought you were only able to walk through the tree. This, I find a slightly more forgivable oversight since very few people would try to Surf through a tree. Walking away from Zoroark? How many of us have decided mid-way when following a character in the games (any games) to just leave them there and do our own thing and come back?

I'm really confused about N's Pokemon....I realize this is the Zoroark from his final battle in BW, but I assumed that Zoroark was his childhood Zorua. But then we're given that Zorua.

Maybe his Zoroark was originally from Lostlorn Forest? I know when the player character goes there (with one of the event Beasts), we only see one Zoroark. But what if there used to be many Zorua/Zoroark living there? Perhaps the forest N was found in was Lostlorn Forest?

Anyways, I'm starting to hope this bug can render the post-game events non-canon, since I despise how N decides to give up Zekrom/Reshiram. It makes very little sense to me, and only seems to serve the purpose of having one of the version mascots be obtainable.

Right, because one major bug in an excellent game obviously means they were doing nothing but scratching their bums while making this game. ._.
