Doubtful. This is Germany, not France, and I don't see why that would be a reason to cancel it anyway.

I contacted the German GameStop team through their Facebook account recently. Here's what they responded.

da müssen wir uns nochmal intern bzw. über den Herausgeber Nintendo absichern und melden uns dann schnellstmöglich wieder bei Dir!

Translated into English, it means, "because we have to protect ourselves again internally or via the publisher Nintendo and then notify us as soon as possible with you again!"
