Zubat evolving into Crobat?

I was just looking at the shiny sprite of Zubat on Serebii when I happened to notice that Zubat evolves into Golbat at level 22, and then into Crobat via happiness.

But I thought that Zubat evolved into Crobat via happiness, if you evolve it before it reaches level 22.

The reason I think this is because on my Pokémon Pearl game, the first Pokémon I caught after my starter was a Zubat, and it evolved into a Crobat at about level 15!

Was this a glitch? I'm very confused and annoyed. Can anyone help me?

Hmm, I can confirm one thing here, Golbat evolves into Crobat.

Most likely, it was just a glitch. Other than that, theres no other way to explain it.

Yeah it was a glitch or some thing... I too also trained a Zubat as my flying type for my first team in Diamond... Mine I remember FIRST evolved into a Golbat at 22 THEN a Crobat at 23...

No, Zubat does not evolve straight into Crobat. Even if you reach maximum happiness while in Zubat stage. Whoop-dee. Exposing a Pichu to a Thunderstone doesn't get you a Raichu, nor does leveling up a Charmander to level 36 give you a Charizard. The middle stage is there.

No. Delibird do appear in there.
