Continuing on from the recent launch of the Trainer Files: Lovable Numskulls event in Pokémon Masters EX, Plumeria & Gengar are making their playable debut today in a new set of Variety Scouts.

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period early next week on Tuesday May 14th, ahead of a planned update of the software to Version 1.7.2. This maintenance period is expected to go for roughly 4 and a half hours, from 1:00am until 5:30am (UTC). The update includes additional perks for Novice Researchers, and a selection of Balance adjustments for helper Pokémon, in addition to preparing the game for the Entei Research event later in the month.

The new Trainer Files: Lovable Numskulls event has just launched today in Pokémon Masters EX. Running alongside this event are a set of Variety Scouts featuring Guzma, with his new sync partner Ariados, and the debut of a new Ultimate Battle, Leon's Unbeatable Blaze.

Pokémon Sleep's next Good Sleep Day event will run from Wednesday May 22nd through to Friday May 24th, during the first week of the Entei Research event. Good Sleep Day events are being held in Pokémon Sleep once every lunar month, starting the day before the full moon, and ending the day after. As usual, a Good Sleep Day Bundle will be available from the in-game shop alongside this event.

Niantic and The Pokémon Company announced support for Latin American Spanish in Pokémon GO in a keynote speech at CCXP in Mexico City over this past weekend on May 5th. To commemorate this update, a special event entitled A New LATAM Adventure is currently running in-game until June 15th, at 8:00pm local time. This event is only available for Trainers physically present in in Latin America.

Pokémon Masters EX's latest High Score Event, Water and Fairy Conqueror, is launching today alongside two new Scouts featuring Water- and Fairy-type Sync Pairs. Both the event and these scouts will run through to May 20th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

The next past generation first partner evolution to appear in special Tera Raids in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be the Soloist Pokémon Primarina, who will be making its first appearance in 7-star Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles between May 10th 5th at Midnight (UTC), and May 12th at 11:59pm (UTC), with a follow-up appearance one week later from May 17th at Midnight (UTC), and May 19th at 11:59pm (UTC). Blissey will also be appearing more frequently in 5-star Tera Raid Battles during the second week of this event.

Action Role Playing Games Marathon Event (ARPGME) will be hosting their 8th annual speedrunning event from May 6th to May 12th. A full game run of Pokémon Scarlet is set to feature as the final run of the marathon. ARPGME will be raising money for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and will be hosted on the ReallyReallyLongAThon Twitch channel.

A limited-time distribution of a Flutter Mane was announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet during the livestream of the 2024 Korean Pokémon Trainers Cup. This Iron Hands is based on the one used by Shin Yeo-myeong in 2023 Korean Pokémon Trainers Cup. This distribution will remain available only until May 7th, at 11:59pm (KST) / 2:59pm (UTC).

The A Golden Future Story Event that originally ran for Pokémon Masters EX's 40 million download celebration is receiving its second re-run today for the final day of the Japanese Golden Week holiday. Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-oh, who first made their debut alongside the original run of this Story Event, are also making a return in a new Poké Fair Scout. Both the event and scout will be available until May 19th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Niantic released full details on the Catching Wonders event in Pokémon GO, which will be taking place later this month between Tuesday May 14th, at 10:00am, and Sunday May 19th, at 8:00pm local time. As part of this event, Masterwork Research: Catching Wonders will be made available for free for all Trainers.

Niantic has released full details on the Flock Together Research Day in Pokémon GO, which will be taking place on May 11th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. As the name suggests, this event will focus on Flying-type Pokémon.

Anime Speedruns Festival (ASF) will be hosting the 2024 edition of their annual online marathon this weekend. Runs of Pokémon Card GB and Pokémon Battle Revolution are scheduled as part of the event, which will be hosted on the Speedgaming Twitch channel.

As announced at the end of last month, Sleep Researchers will soon be getting another opportunity to observe the sleep styles of a Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep, with the two week long Entei Research event scheduled to commence Monday May 20th at 4:00am local time, and running through to Monday June 3rd at 3:59am local time.

A brand new villain is arriving in Pokémon Masters EX today, with Bellelba & Swoobat making their debut in a new set of Costume Scouts alongside the ongoing Infamous Pokéstar Villains Costume Event. The Bellelba Costume Scout and Bellelba Costume Tiered Scout will run through until May 19th, at 10:59pm (PDT). The associated Bellelba Costume Featured Ticket Scout and Bellelba Costume Guaranteed Ticket Scout meanwhile will run through to May 26th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Today, Pokémon Masters EX is receiving its second ever Mix Scout, with the launch of the Blue & Charizard Mix Scout. New content is also being added today to the Main Story's Mysterious Stones Chapter, as previewed in the recent developer letter, while Raihan & Duraludon make a return for the latest Monthly Poké Fair Scout.

April's final new event comes to Pokémon Masters EX today with the launch of a second new Costume Event, Infamous Pokéstar Villains. Also launching today is the first of two new Costume Sync Pairs featured in this event, Brycen-Man (Special Costume) & Zoroark.

Sleep Researchers looking to prepare their helper Pokémon ahead of the debut of Entei in Pokémon Sleep in late May will be getting some help early next month, with a week-long event focused specifically on Fire-type Pokémon scheduled to commence Monday May 6th at 4:00am local time, and running through to Monday May 13th at 3:59am local time.

A pair of classic gold-themed events, the Pasio Gold Rush Solo Event and The Golden Magikarp Daily Battle Event, are returning to Pokémon Masters EX today ahead of Japan's Golden Week Holiday period. Also launching today are the previously announced Rika's Elite Test Special Event, a trio of Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts, and a Training Support Rally.
