Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

Seems a little bright for an ice type? Maybe use cooler colors instead?

Well I did make it when I was about 9 or 10, and it's kind of supposed to catch you off guard. It took me forever to figure out Sneasel was an Ice type.

Ummm, like Sudowoodo?

Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

Only kind of? But its main purpose was to confuse people into thinking it was not a rock type?
They went over that dozens of times in the anime and it's dex entry was nothing but it?

I never contradicted you, I just said kind of because when I was designing it I probably didn't have the capacity to plan out all that stuff about it, and I liked the pun so that's why I went with those types. If it was a real one I'm sure that it would confuse a lot of younger players who expect it to be a grass type (like sudowoodo) but I just didn't really think about it at the time and just now really thought about it as I was going through some old drawings.

Anyways oh well, I still think a hot pepper would make a better grass/fire type

Wow one of us misunderstood something. This just proves that emotions can not transfer over when typing unless you use emoticons.

Anyway, yeah a grass/fire makes a lot more sense, especially since the pun most likely does not exist in Japan.

Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

I just thought of something...

SQUARE WATERMELON POKEMON. It'd be so cute! X3

Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

That would be amazing. Start off round and evolve square. Or have two or three different shapes for the same pokemon!!!

EDIT: aww, you passed me again

YES!!! A round one, a square one, and a triangular one! But what would their typing be?

Grass, obviously. And I'm not sure what their Japanese name is but based on the English name I would say water. And they would know bullet seed for sure, and then probably also seed bomb, maybe water gun, and absorb.

You mean water/grass, since it is a watermelon

Yes, exactly. I think it would have good defenses and HP, average special attack, and poor attack and speed. I don't think it would evolve because then they would somehow have to work in the shape in the evolution.

Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

It could be the new Dusknoir! And for once, a cute non-legendary that'd actually be useful.

Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

Do you think it would be really big representing how large watermelons usually are, or do you think it would be smaller, like the same size as an average watermelon?

Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

Maybe it could start out small and then grow really huge, like giant-watermelon-in-that-one-Super-Mario-Sunshine-level huge.

Re: New Pokémon, new evolutions, or too much?

I'm trying to draw a watermelon poke now. I think it's going to be pretty good. The only think is the basic shape looks almost exactly like Munma minus the snout.

Three lefts make a right, don't you know. XD

EDIT: This was in response to the post above the above post. I don't know how to add a quote in an edit, so...yeah.

Re: 8 New Pokemon Aired on "Oha Suta"

I already know what his face looks like

His face seems a little too squarish

I would imagine it looking like Electrode?

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a U-turn
