Simple Questions / Simple Answers (Gens 1-7)

Re: Simple Questions Simple Answers (XY Edition)

I just thought of another question -
Does anyone know if it's possible to get Charizardinite/Venasuarinite even if you picked Squirtle and got Blastoisinite? Or do I need to trade them with another Pokemon from another copy of the game? (I planned to get Y eventually, but I already have a Bulbasuar from FR and a Charmander from SS I planned to transfer in December)

You can apparently buy them for between 150,000-1,000,000 Poké in Lumiose City. IDK where, though.
Well, that's better then nothing I suppose. Thanks :)
You can buy their Mega Stones at the Stone Emporium in Lumiose City.

Ok, I'm running into a dilemma.

I'm trying to play blindly, so if you could keep anything after Reflecting Cave secret that would be nice.

Anyway...

He's the problem I'm running into. I'm getting mowed over by mostly everyone because I didn't know that they don't cut the EXP gain in half when you use the EXP Share so I'm a little under leveled (about level 29-31 right before reflecting cave with Kirlia & Braixen).

Since I wanted to play blindly I have no idea what comes up next. I did look up to see if Magnemite was catchable (it is, Lost Hotel I believe), but I'm not sure who is a better pokemon. Is Helioptile's evo better than Magnezone? If not, where do I need to level Magneton for him to evolve?

What I'm wondering is if Magnezone is stronger than Helio-whatever (don't know the name because I haven't seen one yet), How late in the game is Route 13, And does going without an electric pokemon until wherever I am in the story at the Lost Hotel a bad thing or a good thing.

Can someone please help me out? I'd rather not continue until I make a decision.
Magnezone base stats: 70/70/115/130/90/60
Heliolisk base stats (from Smogon): 60/65/50/120/100/120

I'd say depends on what your team needs. Heliolisk is more of a glass cannon sweeper whereas Magnezone is more bulky but slower. Though I'm not sure where to evolve Magneton in XY.

I didn't feel as if a certain type was necessary going through the game. You'll get Thunderbolt as a TM along the story so you are able to just use that as well.
3 things:
a. how are people getting money? I am BROKE (in Y) Part of the reason I'm out of money, I guess is that I'm buying Pokeballs. Only regular ones, of course (I think I bought like 2 great balls) and potions sometimes and just not really earning any $$. But still, its not like I'm buying them like mad. I actually have some guys in the daycare that I doubt very much Ill be able to afford to get out.
I mostly just buy Pokeballs, in batches of 10 so I get a Premier Ball each time. You could sell those Premier Balls (not sure if they're still worth something on XY).

Yeah if you follow the route where that Snorlax was, I think it was Route 7, it should take you to the next part of your adventure. HMs usually turn up before you need to use them so that shouldn't be an issue.

Re: Simple Questions Simple Answers (XY Edition)

Does anyone happen to have any idea as to Mega Houndoom's BSTs, or at least know what sort of stat boosts it gets?

Re: Connecting to internet--HELP

Help! I can't connect my pokemon y to the internet for some reason. My DS says that my internet connection works and every other electronic device works but for some reason my game cartridge won't connect to the wifi. I get the 001-0502 error code. I haven't been connected yet. Anyone else have this issue? How do I fix it.

So does anyone have an idea?

Re: Shiny pokemon

Seems like shinies are more common in X and Y.

It's possible, but remember that out of the many, many English-speaking players, we're only hearing about some of those who have found shinies. Consider how many players there are who haven't found a shiny yet but haven't posted about it (Since posting about how you're finding ordinary pokémon is somewhat redundant)

Re: Simple Questions Simple Answers (XY Edition)

I need to find a razor fang to evolve my Gligar.

Re: Shiny pokemon

I caught a female Eevee the other day
Can i see pics of the gen 6 shinies? I'm curious as to what they look like.
I've compiled this. It's from a few days ago though, so it's missing a lot of other revealed ones.

Re: Simple Questions Simple Answers (XY Edition)

I'm breeding a Japanese Female Furfrou and a German Male Furfrou in hopes of hatching a Shiny Furfrou. Did the Masuda Method continue into Generation VI and are the chances of getting a Shiny Furfrou this way more likely than searching on Route 5?
Bumped question.

Re: Simple Questions Simple Answers (XY Edition)

To anyone who has completed Victory Road: How long is it/how many trainers are there?

I am just curious to know whether it could take 15 minutes or one hour.

NPC with Froakie?

I was wondering if anyone has found an NPC to battle so you can get Froakie on your Pokedex?

I want to look for one on the GTS but since I haven't seen one I can't.

Re: NPC with Froakie?

You can still get it on the GTS by typing in Froakie's name yourself. Scroll to the bottom of the list and it should say something like "What Pokemon?"

Re: Simple Questions Simple Answers (XY Edition)

Here's my question: I left one of my Pokemon in the Gen V Dream World and forgot to take it out. I haven't been able to wake it up because PGL is down for maintenance and I can't find it in any of my PC boxes or in my party in my White version. Does anybody know if X/Y's Dream World will carry over Pokemon data from Gen V or if there will be some way for me to get my Pokemon back?

Thanks

Re: NPC with Froakie?

If you have a noivern i have a froakie on the gts you can trade for. If you started with chespin, shauna will give you a froakie after you beat the game.

Re: Shiny pokemon

Haven't found one in X and Y yet. I hope i do though, from @Rainbow;'s blog post with most of the shiny kalos pokemon they look great!

Re: Concerned about pokemon size!

Where can I find Magby, Magmar, Magmortar, Magby or Magcargo? Just want them to hatch eggs... Seen them on GTS, but for stupid trades like legendarily.
Anyone know where I could capture these?

Also anyone know where to capture a vulpix?

About 45-60 minutes I recall. I think there were about 25 trainers aprox give or take.

It wasn't very time consuming, the problem with Victory Road is all they are actually good trainers unlike most of the trainers so far.
They make their weakness's their strengths and if you send out a pokemon to take advantage of their weakness's, there's a good
chance they'll be prepared for that.
