I've never tried camping, my parents were quite against the idea and I'm just not used to it by this point so I don't find it that great of an idea, personally. Although I like enjoying nature occasionally.

Thankfully I don't have many allergies, however humidity is getting my asthma worse. Now that I live in an urban area with a very dry climate the difference makes more of an impact.

Besides the natural pollen and the likes I'm allergic to, I'm also allergic to the fact that we don't have (unlimited) wifi in nature. How can one survive without internet? But besides that it's a lot of fun, especially when you're going with family or friends.
Although the later I've yet to experience, but we should do that sometime @DarthWolf13 @CheffOfGames

I've been quite spoiled over the last half year as my dad decided to get us a new router and move my desktop from a port in our network switch to directly in the router.

I went from 15 / 15 down/up
To 150/15 down/up on desktop
And 80/15 upstairs on wifi.

So a week out where I don't or have really slow wifi bothers me :unsure:
In the end I'm just really spoiled o_O

Luckily I don't any allergies to deal with if I have to go outdoors. However, I do have allergies to the fish protein itself, which isn't fun if I have to go to a seafood place or mainly sushi place when I go out in a group.

And I agree! I can't stand the lack of internet access for hours at a time unless I'm actually focused on something else like driving.

And wow @SoaringDylan, your worst case scenario is that I typically get, even on a good router at home. Of course, my internet can only give a max of 25/5 but you would think being in the technology capital of the world would mean Gigabit+ internet for everyone. Sadly, that couldn't be more wrong.

My Internet connection's not that good, not sure how much it is but definitely less than 20. I'm used to it so I don't mind it, though.

Well. Just put the finishing touches on the game I've been developing with a group of people for college this last half year.
Tomorrow 2pm CEST is when we'll be presentating it for the rest of my class, teachers and our client.

I'm sooo relieved I'm finally done with this... It's taken too much time and too much stress to create.
now let's hope I get a 6+ o_O

2 more weeks of college and then we're done for the year over here. Can't wait ^^;

Studying game development just sounds so awesome :)
Best of luck with your grade!

I've got like 3 more weeks before I'm done for the year too.

It's fun, but this project was to create a game that helps pregnant women to stop smoking. A combination of the assignment & my team made this a hellish project. But at last I'm finished so it's time to party haha ^^;

A game that achieves that? Sounds challenging but also interesting. Aww, at least you're finished so yay! :D

That's a pretty interesting project, especially for a first year project. Hopefully your team wasn't too bad.

I just turned in my last Quantum Mechanics homework. Now I just need to finish up my Computational Physics project, final homework and do well on my Quantum Mechanics final and I shall have my Applied Physics degree.

Okay fine, I need to finish my thesis over the summer also. My experiment that my thesis is based on didn't go well so I had to rerun my experiments which sadly delayed the progress of my thesis. But hey, after my thesis is done, I will officially be a Physics graduate! No grad school for me in the near future though.

What's a grad school? Is that like masters? I don't think we have anything like that over here o_O

For those who haven't seen me posting anywhere else about it, I finished the project with a 7/10 and with the project that it was, I'm very grateful for that grade.
Only 1 more test and one more rapport to hand in and then we're done for the year :D

Since a lot of people here just stop after their bachelor's, "university student" (or "college student," which both mean the same thing here, unlike other places) means getting your associate's (2-year) or bachelor's (4-year) degree. If you go further than that you'd say "I'm a grad student" or "law student" or "medical student," etc.

With a few private "college" exceptions, we only have universities here. Whether it's a bachelor's, a master's or a PhD, it's still done at the university. We also don't really have associate/diploma/any sort of pre-bachelor degrees recognized here.
