Mafia Pokémon Mystery Dungeon World Mafia - Chapter 17: [TBD] (Day 9)

The main reason for voting me seems to be my interaction and therefore a good candidate for a first day lynch.
I don't think I can change much about that.

Hey don't say that. You were basically the one to start serious discussion. If lynching for that becomes okay, people will start becoming hesitant to start the serious discussion. Someone needs to take the initiative.

I don't think Darth is scum but I also don't think Max is. Sadly, these are the 2 major wagons for D1.

I don't think Darth is worth being lynched since my biggest town read is him at the moment, because of this I will tie the votes with a Vote: Great Glaceon

I know it probably won't convince those who voted for me, but I will say this: I have a plan to screw over scum, but I must survive until a Night Phase to put it into effect.

@Lord Fawful @SwordMaster♪ is it really worth it to lynch Max/GG?

We currently have 3 groups of people.
1. Those who think Max is scum
2. Those who think I'm scum
3. those who think both are Town.

If anyone of the 3rd group knows a better lynch target, feel free to make a case.
I sadly don't see any good potention besides a no lynch, but I have to agree that a lynch can give some good info so I won't vote for that.

His reaction doesn't look as scum to me. Just a jumpy Town player.
If you think others haven't made a good case against me, then why aren't you pushing that? If you don't like their argument then question them or vote on them if you think that is good enough for it. It's the same reason as to why I questioned some of it.

I'll start by asking Arata what exactly they felt was "unconvincing" about your shift to seriousness, though I won't be changing my vote since I don't feel like losing you to a lynch just yet. While I have tried to read stuff based on tone during past D1s, I struggle to see what was unbelievable to Arata about your behavior.

I just feel like he was too eager to continue the joke posts, sort of opposed to actually getting started at scum hunting.
It's the feeling I got from his posts, as he posted a lot of joke posts in quick successions but hasn't added much since.

Honestly, I feel like questioning those people would be a waste of time since they're unlikely to give satisfactory answers.
Wouldn't exactly be opposed to lynching one of them, though :>

Vote: Great Glaceon
If it's between him and Wolf, I'd rather keep the person who's doing something than the person who promised something. You can use promises to keep yourself alive for no reason late into the game.
Plus, I hate no lynches, especially day one.
It looks like ties here are no lynches? I didn't see it in the OP but that's what I picked up from reading.

don't like either leading wagon myself, feel like trying to start another one
Then how would you call this? You don't like it so you vote me. Isn't that also some sort of vote based on feeling?
Mido's likely not around, but I dislike the Darth wagon especially, and without her answering this, like her least of those three
Vote: Midorikawa

I always keep my promises. As for my plan, I guarantee you'll realize what it was when I'm mislynched.

Ok since my vote on Neon won't go anywhere in this scenario. I am ready to back Drift and Vote: Midorikawa.

I didn't like their reason (or lack thereof) for voting Darth. All they said is they didn't like Darth's posts and then later reprimanded Arata's vote based on gut feeling. This is contradictory in itself and I find Mido suspicious for this.

No it’s based on your actions. To me your posts were BS. They seemed like lies, and the reactions weren’t likeable either.
It's not like we have any better ideas for D1. I have a feeling that DarthWolf is suspicious for the way he tried to be serious with the convo, but he didn't actually deliver it in such a convincing way? Kinda what I get from it... if my feeling is wrong though, it's not like it's gonna harm us heavily because it's still D1 and we can use what we get from this day to make better decisions from reactions and such.
But here you explain. I should clarify by guy I mean-feeling for no good reason. But this is explaining why he feels off to you.

Wait. So you knew I wasn’t around and yet you vote me, near the end of the phase.

I don’t care who it is, but attempting to lynch someone and knowing they aren’t around to defend themselves is scummy as heck. It’s an easy lynch.

Unvote: Darth
Vote: Drift

I know this probably looks like an omgsus. But voting someone you know isn’t around is scummy-especially if part of your reasoning is they haven’t answered a question yet. Which makes sense if they aren’t around.

I won’t be around for the next fifteen minutes because of work but these are my final thoughts.

Max-town
Darth-leaning scum
Drift and pika-likely scum

That's a weird vote hop. There weren't any votes on Drift already, so why would you hop like that and make it likelier that someone you have a town read on gets lynched?

Alright, but you better have results come day 2. Or at least an explanation.

UNVOTE: Great Glaceon
VOTE: Drift
