Pokemon has always looked like anime though, including the 3D games.

I don't see how it's different in principle than applying textures to polygons.

I'unno, I just think the traditional anime look is better. I just can't get into full CG animation.

So it's just the first movie but it looks worse? Literally why would anyone watch this when they could watch that? There has to be more to it than a 1:1 remake, there just has to be. The only good thing I can see so far is that it will have the Amber stuff in it.

If I recall correctly, they kept them because they "thought they were funny". In fact, I still remember Mew's explanation of Mew's origin thanks to those errors.

The dubbers got it wrong unintentionally, one of their kids spotted it and pointed it out, but they left it like that because it would be, "something fun for the kids to spot."

After 20 years of the anime, I am totally not here for a completely CGI movie containing the most well known anime characters. Ash, Misty, and Brock look like toys.

Ugh like everyone else I'm hoping that this isn't a shot by shot remake and that they add some new stuff and if it is a full on remake then I guess that it won't be connected to the last two movies.
