This battle between Satoshi and Guzma is an interesting development. Could be that they're preparing him as Satoshi's final rival in the league?

I think that might be Kukui because of his Incineroar. That battle has already been teased in the opening and I doubt it’d be anything short of Ash’s last league battle.

It's nice to see Guzma getting a strong and promising entrance to the anime, because Team Skull itself has been quite disappointing. Going over 100 episodes without the debuts of any major faces wasn't a good idea if you ask me.

Ya boy Guzma and Plumeria probably should have appeared 40 episodes ago.

Oh hey, I got my wish. it looks like Golisopod WILL wipe the floor with Pikachu! :D

Though chances are Ash will pull some BS come from behind win like he tends to do...<_<
The taste of vengeance is sweet for Guzma, especially what Ash has done to his underlings through the start of the series. And yeah, the writer will definitely going to pull off another out of logic sense like the one they did with the Hapu grand trial battle to let Ash win again. While trolling at us once more to make him lose in the league with another controversy to continue the series as always.

Fun Fact: it took the anime 15 episodes to introduce Giovanni, 97 episodes for Maxie and Archie, Cyrus took 96 episodes, Ghetsis took 112, Lysandre took 94 (main series), Lusamine 44, and Guzma 115 episodes respectively.

But let’s compare that to when their teams were introduced; Team Rocket in episode 2- 13 episodes before their leader; Team Magma in episode 2- 95 episodes before their leader; Team Aqua in episode 17- 80 episodes before their leader; Team Galactic in episode 60 (although they kind of cameoed and were behind events in episode 36) 36 episodes before their leader (or 60); Ghetsis, Lysandre and Lusimine all debuted in the same episode as their teams.

Guzma is debuting a full 114 episodes after Team Skull appeared in episode 1!

Guzma's facial expressions look too badass, IMO. Like, in the games, his facial expressions were generally pretty exaggerated in a goofy way.

His face just lends itself to funny expressions.

Yeah Oha Suta didn't have any Pokémon content. The second preview will air less than 12 hours to when the actual episode airs.

Another reason why Sunday Pokeani sucks balls...

There were Thursday previews at some point. We simply don't know why they've stopped showing up the last couple times.
There have always been Thursday previews, except that their appearance depends on Oha Suta's mood. The difference is that when Pokeani aired on a Thursday evening no one gave a damn to notice whether the Thursday morning Oha Suta preview showed up or not! Now the Sunday morning Pokenchi preview has been relegated to the role of 'airing so late it doesn't matter', except that it is the one preview that is guaranteed to happen!
