Wake up. Wake up sleepyhead! You’ve washed up on Koholint Island. What? No, I’m not Zelda. You don’t feel so good, and you’re seeing double. See that bright, shining egg on the horizon? It’s up to you to gather the Instruments of the Sirens and awaken the Wind Fish within. It won’t be easy. Nightmares lurk in every corner, chain chomps and goombas even stand in your way. But you will prevail. You must. Though you may wonder, at the end of the day, was it all just, a dream?



It’s time it’s time it’s really time! Over a year and a half later we’re finally back for our second ZD-Bulba Crossover! :D @Mellow Ezlo and I got somethin real special for you, a hydra game! In case you don’t know what a hydra is, it’s just like regular mafia, except for every one role there will be two players. For example, if me and Mez signed up as a hydra we’d have one role pm and one hydra account for the both of us and we live and die as one. Don’t worry if you don’t have a partner though! Odds are someone else won’t have one either and we can throw ya together. Replacement is worst case scenario and we’re almost bound to need some. This is a role madness game with all the bells and whistles up to and including the kitchen sink so step right up!

  1. Know your basic mafia rules.
  2. Read these rules thoroughly.
  3. Days will be 72 hours long and nights will be 24.
  4. I’ll allow one 24 hour extension each day if majority is reached. Extension votes will be counted separately from normal votes.
  5. Vote like this: Vote: scummier6 you must unvote before revoting.
  6. You may vote for no lynch if you wish. A tied vote will result in a coin flip.
  7. Only one role claim per day, counterclaims are fine.
  8. You may not use your role pm as evidence and you may not mention anything character specific that would obviously point to your character. For players who have very flavor-centric roles I will tell you what to say in order to role claim without breaking this rule.
  9. You may not quote or reference any conversations with me. If you ask me something very pertinent I might make an announcement.
  10. What, you thought I'd sneak in some "post your favorite Zelda so I know you read the rules"? Heavens no! Thats not how we do it on ZD. :p
  11. You may not reference this game outside the game thread unless I give you a designated area to do so. All hydras may communicate with their partner in pms here or dms on discord as long they include the hosts and MoD in their conversation.
  12. If you notice any mod mistakes please pm and let me know immediately.
  13. No using outside information.
  14. No editing your posts.
  15. No talking at night.
  16. You may make one post following your death that contains NO game related information whatsoever.
  17. Please be active and make at least three decent posts a day phase. That means per player, I want at least eight overall from each hydra. Please let me know ahead of time if you won’t be able to meet the requirement.
  18. After sign ups are filled, one of you in your hydra is going to make an account for the two of you with the hydra name that you gave me. Your role pm will be sent to this account. To avoid confusion put the usernames of the two players in the user title of the hydra account. However, there's no rule saying you have to say which head posted what so go crazy with that. :p

If you're signing up with a partner both sides need to confirm and give me a name for their hydra. @SoaringDylan will be our MoD.

In all my years playing mafia, I've never actually done a hydra. And as a Zelda fan, this looks like as good a time as any.

Nope, the full ZD experience. Days are 72, no hinting at character, no OC, and role claim limits are in effect. :D Oh and can't forget unvoting before you vote again. Everyone's gonna hate me when they've voted ten times and the vote count is still the same. :LOL:

Throw on Kris (Formerly Eren the Genderfluid Titan/Kristopher Cain on ZD) as my partner. She hasn't played mafia in years, but she thought this sounded like fun. We'll figure out logistics eventually.
