SwSh Sword & Shield: Expansion Pass

And why's that impossible?
Because Pinchurchin and Pyukumuku don't share the same typing and all G-Max Forms' unique Max Moves uses the Pokemon's typing (or one in the case they are dual-typed).
Now they could just share the same model, similar to the Mega for the Lati Twins; however, the two are not a pair in that regard. It's just that they both happen to be small, ball-shaped Pokemon with Spikes on their back. It'd be like saying that Muk and Swalot should get the same G-Max form because they're both globs of slime.

Razor Wind, Whirlwind, aren't flying type. Mega Kick and Dizzy Punch aren't fighting.
All of those moves are from Gen 1. They're also all Normal-type, which is an easier pill to swallow than a move having a pun based on one type and then being a new type that isn't the "default type".
The Affleck leak which was 95% accurate referred to Zacian and Zamazenta as being just 1 Pokemon and mentioned Opal as the 4th Gym Leader.
There's a bit of a difference between mixing up the order of gym leaders and mistaking two related Pokemon as alternate forms, and getting something wrong about a Pokemon that's we've already seen.

Besides, it's not like that's the only thing making this suspicious:
  • It claims that Eternamax will be made available, with no mention of any balancing for the 1000+ BST
  • It claims to have knowledge of both gameplay and advertising schedules (states that "New Gigantamax Forms released in July and August", "Trailer 6/19 Release 6/26", and that one Pokemon will be released through Mystery Gift)
  • It makes some incredibly low-ball predictions, like giving a connection to the birds and the tree that they were depicted with, that Terrain Pulse would be an equivalent to Weather Ball, or saying that the two Regis shown in the trailer would be Electric and Dragon. (Mind you, this is what they look like:
    • 1590909921477.png
  • It claims Slowking will have "a Mareanie crown", but we can see parts of that crown in the video, too, and it doesn't resemble Mareanie at all- it looks more like the "Shellder" biting on Slowbro's tail, actually.
    • 1590910118543.png
  • The shared GMax form between Pyukumuku and Pincurchin, despite the only connection being that they look similar. (We've had Pokemon have dex entries mention each other, we've had Pokemon that will give eggs that hatch into each other, but now we're getting two Pokemon that GMax into the same form, and there was no other connection made?)
  • Several descriptions for new G-Max forms read more like ideas for Megas. (Talonflame- Scrambler Jet, Rotom- Resembles A Tesla Coil, Luxray- Manticore Themed. Grabbloct- Punching Bag Motif) Most GMax forms are focused on making one element of the Pokemon much larger to suit the theme of being huge. (Centiscorch gets way longer, Alcreamie gets a huge layered cake, Kingler's big claw gets even bigger, etc) The ones that don't enlarge an existing element usually only add a small flourish: Lapras gets music notes, Machamp gets powered-up fists, Corviknight gets its little drones) These suggest entirely new inspiration for the Pokemon
    • The manticore one is especially odd, because you'd expect to add the poisonous tail- but GMaxing doesn't affect a Pokemon's type. (Nor does the rumor claim it will) The only other unique element of a manticore is that it has the face of a human, and I really don't see that working out.
    • Also, a scrambler jet isn't a thing. Scrambling is a practice used in air forces, but there's no designated jet for it. Scrambling (military) - Wikipedia
  • They talk about the Crown Tundra expansion as if it's happening right alongside the Isle of Armor, giving only one trailer and release date, and giving way more detail about the plot of Crown Tundra than Isle of Armor. (The only thing directly said to be in the Isle of Armor is a cameo from Volkner) But Isle of Armor is releasing first, while Crown Tundra was said to release in the fall-- why do they have such little information on the upcoming expansion, and so much on something months away?

The Affleck leak which was 95% accurate referred to Zacian and Zamazenta as being just 1 Pokemon and mentioned Opal as the 4th Gym Leader.
Affleck leak happens before any actual leak was revealed this "rumor" was posted 2 days after the moves was datamined and a lot of discrepancy automatically makes this questionable...

here we are, folks! the month of the release. kinda curious if there will be any sort of new trailers or something at some point soon.
I guess they have to do some kind of launch-trailer, at least. Probably a few days before the actual launch.

The exact date has to be known.

do you think they'll pull something akin to Pokemon HOME and do a silent release of some sort? i mean this is unlikely, but TPC/Game Freak's marketing hasn't exactly been super consistent lately, so i wouldn't put it past them to just... suddenly release it on the eShop one random morning. @__@

I think the expansions have a bigger impact on the series than Home, so I guess it has to be marketed like it.

Poltergeist...

In folklore and parapsychology, a poltergeist (German for "noisy ghost") is a type of supernatural being supposedly responsible for physical disturbances, such as loud noises and objects moved around or destroyed. Poltergeists occupy numerous niches in cultural folklore, and have traditionally been described as troublesome spirits who haunt a particular person instead of a specific location.

ghost type sound move anyone? hp draining sound move that affect normal types? soundproof pokemon immune.

hmmm maybe be a physical sound move even??? vould confuse maybe?

that or we will get a ghost type version of Outrage, Trash, hope a physical sound move would be cool.
