It may come off a bit of a stretch, but... although I have been planning to have a Zorua in my initial gameplay for several reasons, mostly because it has an interesting type combination and I like the species itself, unfortunately Zoroark killed my vibe for it. Not because it has a bad design or anything, but... as someone who has gone through a very intense scabies infection for three months just recently, the red marks on Zoroark remind me of nothing but the extremely annoying and itchy burrows and marks on my skin that I experienced for a long time. I don't really want to keep a Pokémon reminding me of such symptoms that I just recently carried on my body.

No, thank you.
Someone else pointed out how gross they were to me so I'm actually happy to see someone else bring this up- the red markings on zoroark are kind of cringe-worthy.

When I briefly saw its model in that video, I didn't like its hair, and thought it looked like nasty tendrils. I hoped the official art would help. Fast forward to today, I saw its art, and yeah the hair looks a little better, but those red bumps... They look like nasty sores

to be fair I think the hair is supposed to look like nasty tendrils. The bumps are weird though, probably some deeper reasoning behind it though, as opposed to just a weird design choice.

The Zoroark looked a lot better in the leaked video. The official art making the red spots more prominent makes it look diseased.

If Hisuian Zorua spot a lone person or Pokémon, the Zorua may appear before them in a guise mimicking the target’s appearance.

So, will we encounter our doppelgänger that is Zorua's illusion in game? That would be creepy and awesome.

I like the red marking on Zoroark, at least it's better than the ugly dots in Mega Lopunny, that thing is gross.

I am glad to see I'm not the only one that found the things on H-Zoroark's legs disgusting. Like, Zorua's fine but Zoroark is so gross. At least it's the first Ghost type I have found profoundly disturbing.

Kind of concerned at this point that Hisuian Arcanine might be another Alolan Persian and that's why they haven't revealed it yet... I remember when we were all eagerly awaiting that persian only to not see it until it was datamined. And boy, was that a let down.
You mean it’ll have a comically big head and Game Freak didn’t learn?

Or, for me, Galarian Rapidash. A fairy type unicorn was the best opportunity for a flying horse, but we got an angry-looking adult Ponyta.

If Growlithe evolves into Arcanine and not something new, please expect a very obvious looking take on it.

Or it'll just look goofy and not cool in any way. =(

Gawd yeah, that was another missed opportunity. I don't know why they tease us with these things if they're not going to take the evo seriously. =_=

Arcanine deserves a cool variant, and as one of my top tier favorite pokemon, I think I will actually be upset if they ruin it.

At least in the official art, it doesn’t look as Angry looking like in the game sprite lol. But yeah, we should have gotten an Alicorn not a Unicorn. I still like it though.

I really feel they want to keep the general aesthetic and evolution changes when it’sa variant and not a new branch, so something like Hisuian Growlithe will evolve into what Kanto Growlithe evolves into- a bigger version of itself (as Kanto Pokémon generally do).
