has anyone seen the confirmation that Penny's dad is Peony from SwSh? Personally I find it pretty funny considering I headcanon Penny as a trans girl and both Peony and Rose as trans men... I guess some things run in the family after all

I find it a bit odd that Penny is Peony's daughter considering how pale her skin tone is in comparison even to Peonia. If she is a mixed-race child then I'd honestly expect her to have a skin tone closer to Ash Ketchum, but maybe Penny's paleness is due to not going outside very much.

there is a line penny has where she's on a phone call with her father and she has a line where she mentions the phrase "adven-tour," getting mad at him for using it
so it's not explicitly confirmed but i think there isn't much of a question

Things get a little more interesting if you look at Penny's name in different languages. There is a connection there.
 
If this Penny and Peony connection ends up being true, I do wonder if there will be any resolution. Will Peony show up in some future event in Scarlet or Violet, or will it just be a loose thread that is just there for eagle-eyed players?

Mixed-race children can vary in skin tone.

I do have the feeling Penny and Peonia are half-sisters. I mean... we know Peonia's mom is a blonde due to Peony's rare league card in Galar.
 
There is a chargestone cave in the terarium. Do we know if its just a copy of the chargestone cave in unova , or its the chargestone cave that goes underwater? What if Unova was flooded and is underwater for some reason ? The terarium is underwater, and is said to be in Unova.

The Unova remake could cover the events of BW and BW2, and then show events that will flood unova in a few years.

Just a copy, the Terarium is connected to the mainland with a subway. Unova and all of its cities are still there. Some characters mention locations/visits. It's also called 'Chargestone Cavern' instead of 'Cave'.

I wouldn't mind a flooded/post-natural disaster setting in an alternate reality sometime in a future entry, though.
