I forget if Flygon can have any Flying move but Fly, but if he does swap it out. Fly's a fun mess-around move, but it allows for an easy switch-out. If it can Aerial Ace, I suggest using that. Or, you can get a punch tutored onto it if you own Plat/feel...

But in more serious matters, Gen 4, Platinum. I was searching for a Ralts that was not terrible and found a shiny Bibarel. I killed it, since shiny dung is still dung.
While I was messing around in the Trophy Garden that same Plat, I found a shiny Roselia. Caught it...
I would not really like that because it's just making generalizations based on type which may or may not be true for the person playing. I'm not too hot-headed and I love the Fire Type.

Alright, the link posted is good, but I'll provide a simpler rundown.
Whenever you defeat a Pokemon and gain EXP, you also get an effort point. There are points in each stat, and you can gain more than one point per Pokemon defeated. You can even gain points for more than one...
I like the "all region" deal. I'd also expect that you'd be given the option to choose your starting region, and after that you would likely follow a set progression, based on starting region.
If by "kinda cute" you mean "the face you see right before you wake up from a nightmare" then yes.
I'd have to agree with Grovyle into Sceptile. Clamperl into any evolution. While I like Dragonite I don't like the change from serpent into it. Larvitar into Pupitar was kinda weird at first, but...
I'm type B and E. Yeah, I train them all to be well rounded, but that doesn't mean I'm not into using insane strategies. After everything is well-rounded, I tend to get them EV'd up (if they were not already) and then, if I like them enough, I run them to L100.
Connor has appeared quite a few times, if not always spelled the same way. The one I remember most is a Tuber right in front of Sunyshore, spelled Conner. Apparently there's an Expert Conor in Emerald, a Scientist Connor in FRLG (this is funny considering what my major is), a School Kid Connor...
