The introduction of Mega Evolution was done in X/Y you don't just keep reintroducing concepts as if they're new each time.

How? Mega Stones/Rings aren't apart of the story anymore. Story-wise, it wouldn't make sense for anyone to have a Mega Evolution, but chances are they're still gonna show up in the game.
