Careful with your wording Shuko as ROMs are indeed illegal, hacks are not (unless they are specifically aimed at removing copyright protection). Nintendo does have "codes of conducts" on what you can discuss in their forums - the same way Bulbagardens does.
Now what you're telling me is not...
If you want help from (a greated pool of) potential "de-encryptors" please post a link to somwhere where we can
a) Download a .SAV
b) Reference to at least 1 Pokemon's entire known data from the game (preferably higher level since we *know* their IV values) (including obviously their box...
Yup, totally useless thing really, although kinda neat for a few minutes...
One interesting thing which makes me understand why there are never any Pokemon events in Canada is the 25k GTS participants here in contrast to the 300k in the US...
From the looks of the snapshots, it's just an interface to allow you to search for pokemon in a better way than the in-game GTS interface in addition to giving you information about the ongoing trades around the world... This last feature though neat but totally useless.
As for requiring a...
Heh, I can't access the site either... Damn office firewalls.
About that post I just posted a bit above, I realised there's a problem in identifying the pokemon: if it's traded on GTS then returned to the original owner by a direct non-GTS trade then using what I porposed would identify it as...
Well, they don't need this to be on their Web site, all this should be implimeneted in the GTS right away regardless of a "Web interface" - they started doing that already to some degree (eg: the < Lvl 9 Mew thing).
One interesting thing they could do though (albeit this would take a LOT of...
Uhm that's caus' it's impossible to have a lvl 9 and under LEGITIMATE pokemon - and if you claim that you got traded it and didn't know about it, it's because they added the "obvious hack lock mechanism" before you "got rid of it"...
Now to add something more constructive to the thread, I...
Pokérus
Anyone who's followed this thread will remember my complaints about the GTS and the SUCKme... psyduck I got while hoping to get one of those from the devs..
Anyhoo I had totally forgotten that I still had left a PONYTA for trade, so I decided to check up on it. Sadly, when it...
I noticed that the poketch app refreshes properly even when moving (unlike, say, pressing the Y button to activate the registered bicycle, which requires you to stop first, quite annoying actually), so I find tapping the poketch not that bad.
I still use the Solaceon route though :P
Back in July last year. The 10th Anniversary Contest thing, where they gave Celebi and 20 other pokemon...
Or at least so they announced, since I missed it...
At least it wasn't in a ToyRus...
Wewps, just to clarify, the "No they're not" was actually meant to mean "No they're not *limited* to egg/TM/HM/Normal moves."
The link you provided is where I found my answer ;) (Along with the R/S/E/FR/LG pokedex which indicates the move tutor moves).
Move Tutors
In Emerald they had re-introduced Move Tutors.
I was wondering wether move tutors actually teach moves that couldn't otherwise be tougth or wether they match egg/TM/HM/Normal moves. (This also goes for the D/P Dragon lady...)
Found my answer: No they're not (or at least not...
Heh, I *almost* went to the NY event http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=from:+montreal,+quebec,+canada+to:+new+york,+NY&sll=43.113415,-73.809285&sspn=6.919912,12.381592&ie=UTF8&z=7&om=1
but it just seemed too silly to go so far and waste 1-3 hours of a "weekend vacation trip to...
I did my first GTS trade today...
For most people this should be a great moment... and it was for the time the little pokeball flew down the sky.
All the fun was lost when I saw the Pokemon though - called "SUCKmeD*CK". Even though it was a Psyduck you can guess it wasn't DUCK at the end...
