I have a shiny Fearow :/. Didn't use Pokeradar or anything; just stumbled across it. Also have a shiny Pidgey that I migrated from FireRed. It's like some sort cruel joke by the Normal/Flying common types.

Yep... The only reason I could see for doing it is for more registered locations on the GTS globe thing, boosted experience gain, and foreign pokedex entries. Usually those things don't cross people's minds when making trades, though.

Just keep an eye out for twins, which are two little girls standing next to each other, and young couples, which is a boy and girl standing side-by-side. Those are the only ones I've come across so far.

Nintendo wants their games played a certain way. That way excludes cheating of any kind; so they have the right to ban anyone who has cheated. Sure it seems to make sense to just go after those who battle or trade hacked pokemon, but hacked items are just as bad. Cheating is a slippery...

I'm fairly positive that you would not get a shiny through breeding. If you could they wouldn't be rare, which is sorta the point.
