I nearly messed my pants when i came across a Blue venonat in Gold Version. I had a wingull with green instead of blue on my last sapphire save file. And my little brother found a shroomish with red instead of green but he ran away from it. GRRRRRR!

I agree, Slaking is a good approach for a sweeper. Also if it has a high SP.ATK teach it a moves like Flamethrower or Ice Beam for good measure.

I have never raised a pokemon to level 100 i don't know what it is, but i find having a lvl 100 pokemon takes away all the fun. I'm one of those people who doesn't keep training until all my pokemon are the same level. And having a pokemon that high on emerald seems pointls when the battle...
