I love Eeveelutions, but other than Umbreon (which I totally raised wrong because I didn't realize it was a defensive based Pokemon) I never really use them. Am I the only one who doesn't nickname my Pokemon?

There's no starter I flat out dislike. Chimchar would probably be my least favorite design-wise, but I think its evolutions' designs are much better.

I agree. Gen IV was way out of control with the evolutions. And Gen III didn't have enough. I like the number of evolutions Gen II had, so I'd like it to be around that number.

Re: Starters final forms? The idea of Grass/Dark, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Fighting kinda reminds me of Skyrim (or pretty much any High Fantasy RPG) with the Stealth/Magic/Fighting classes.

I'd imagine the XY demo would be similar to demos of previous generations. (they'd have them in places like Nintendo World or GameStop) They give you a few pre-determined Pokemon and let you battle a bunch of trainers.

GF should implement trainer profiles with people you've met online (through trading, battling, etc.) And you'd be able to see their GTS requests.

I don't have any problems with the current save system. I don't think the idea of multiple saves would be implemented well either. It would probably make it too easy to collect all of the Pokemon.

Re: Pokemon X and Y available for Preorder at Gamestop I barely know enough about the games to decide which to pre-order yet. I also what to see if other places have better pre-order bonuses.

Personally, I think we need a baby Pokemon for the Meowth line. Because almost every really famous two-evolution Pokemon has gotten a baby form. (Pikachu, Jigglypuff, etc.) I think one for Tropius would be cute too, although that's less likely.

Re: New Pokemon Discussion and Speculation Thread What makes this sound fake to me is that a lot of these ideas sound like "X animal made out of X item" like the Grass, Fire, Steel, Bug, and Rock types. I don't see what's so unbelievable about Xerneas being Ice/Steel. I doubt Game Freak...
