Why wouldn't it be the same Mewtwo? Just the one was a big deal—an expensive, involved project that proved to be a liability. What would they do, make a clone of a clone?

What a shame. I wanted to see the FFVII fans cry. Not that I even hate the game, it's just that Sephiroth still being this popular is ridiculous.
Many Dex entries greatly exaggerate, but the incongruity here is just bizarre. It makes me wonder if Blastoise had an earlier conceptual form that was this different.
