I agree. Ash needs to stop acting like a noob. But still, will we have another situation like the one where Brock and especially Misty do nothing? Will Dento and Iris be the same way?
No, Dento certainly will have less of an influence than Brock did. Brock was traveling with Ash when the latter was just starting to get his bearings as a trainer. Dento will make his debut when Ash already has lots of experience under his belt. He's already learned the essentials. My guess...
Re: The General Anime Discussion Thread {Formely 'The Pokemon Anime Marathon'}
I just had a thought about this. Maybe Paul was comparing his Starly to his Murkrow, and holding Starly to Murkrow's standard.
Agreed. The Darkrai battle was just cheap, but Ash vs. Paul was epic. Plus, I also liked the battles involving the other rivals.
The Grand Festival, though, seemed kind of unreal, with Dawn reaching the Final. (Good thing she didn't win!)
If he didn't, how would Misty know about May and Max when she first meets them (AG044)? Or how would Tracey know about Ash's disobedient Charizard (EP093)?
My guess is Ash will come 2nd in Isshu and the next league, winning the one after that. My best estimate is, that'll come in 2021. Then, we might have a short wrap-up saga that's not connected to any games but shows Ash making the jump to become a Pokemon master. So I think the anime will end...
I'm tempted to say Paul, because he probably avoided some weaknesses Reggie had as a trainer, but we really didn't see enough of Reggie to make that call.
Kind of. But for the episode you mentioned, I can at least tell where it came from (the kids book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish). But The Fleeing Tower of Sunyshore (a pretty bad pun on "The Leaning Tower of Pisa") is almost as bad.
