Milotic for the defensive approach. My Milotic's Sp. Def is over 250, Thunder doesn't even take her out. Toxic and Hydro Pump = muhaha. Oh yeah, she's prettier too ^^ and she can learn Mirror Coat through breeding. Sure, it's hard to obtain a Feebas and then evolve it, but it is sure worth it...

On Heartgold I was training my Togepi and his Metronome turned into Seed Flare...On a level 12 Drowzee.....sigh.

I'd have to agree that Gen 3 is the best, I personally like it because of Milotic and the Kanto remake. The Hoenn designs are pretty good...but Hariyama and Medicham? They look a bit....eurgh, strange to me.

In Yellow...I was desperate for a Clefairy and TA-DA!! I happened to have a Master Ball in my bag......... Nowadays I make sure I clone them in Emerald and import them to my Diamond, I never go round without at least 5 Master Balls in handy now.
