Re: Shiny Pokemon with the Pokeradar
I have a deep problem. Everytime I see a shiny, I feel the urge to own it. Even if it's on the battle videos at the gts 8-|. I just wish Bibarel had a better movepool. It seems like nothing but hm's.
Re: Shiny Pokemon with the Pokeradar
just started this last night, this morning I caught my first shiny through this method! A shiny bidoof. Eh, pretty miserable pokémon, but my chain was seven. I'm assuming that's pretty lucky, right?
ok, i think this is where this goes. Since the red gyarados is red before you talk to it, would other in-game event pokémon, such as ho-oh, etc., be shiny before you talk to it? Because the whole following sprites and such are redone, is it possible to, say, see a regular ho-oh during the event...
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
Well, r/s/e and d/p/pl's storylines and villianous teams all had potentially world altering effects. I don't see how the game could still be a sandbox game if you were to choose evil, as in for instance, if the world were destroyed or...
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
well pigeon breast is well known congenital medical condition where the top half of the rib cage sticks out further than the bottom, like a pigeon's. It seems more witty to say pigeon chest.
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
these "tumorous growths" are signature on a pigeon. I knew it was a pigeon from first glance by them.
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
well, look at it this way. Drowsee and Hypno are gen. I. The species were named on what appears to be a different method. Over time, the species are named in a different way and maybe gamefreak looked at the species in a different...
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
i like the coloration correlation, but the whole diff. Species name is not significant proof. Turtwig is the tiny leaf, grotle is the grove, and torterra is the continent. And last time I checked they are a legit evolutionary line.
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
the way I see it is, Munna and the drowsee family (if they're even different) have a lot of similarities. Drowsee, in HG and SS, most commonly have forwarn and that's one that Munna can have. Same type, same origin. But different...
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
well, the flame pokémon mostly are all different. and flames are more generic and vague than dream eater. this time it's a bizarre species name with similiar biology as in the trunk.
Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)
Okay, i'm gonna be honest. I'm on vacation and the only source of internet I have is my phone, and the whole forum thing doesn't format well on mobile web. (i don't have an iPhone). So I don't know if anyone else has said this or not...
Re: Official Bulbapedia suggestion/idea/problem thread
if I could, I would. The only access to the internet I have is my phone and won't let me edit any wikis whatsoever.
Re: Official Bulbapedia suggestion/idea/problem thread
on the marowak (literal ghost) page, under the trivia section at one point it reads "an cheating device".
I'm a grammatical nerd and it just made me twitch a little. :)
it's a staple of the game to have three form starter families. Thinking that they would change it is almost as insane as those who think we're ever gonna have a dark/fight/psychic generation of starters. If they haven't changed it yet, they never will.
sorry if this has already been posted, but I have to get this off my mind.
I imagine a pre form Evee (maybe Geneon?). Similiar to Azurill whereas it stands on its fox tail but primarily appears to be very evee-like. The face would be less majestic and cuter.
And an evolution of Exeggutor...
