Beating the Elite 4 in a playthrough of Red (yes, the first one) with all levels in the mid-40s. I know all their teams pretty well and had a well balanced team (Blastoise, Raichu, Primeape, Pidgeot, Nidoqueen, Hypno) myself, so it was easy.

I miss the lo-fi graphics of Gens. 1 + 2. I prefer 8-bit to 3D... I'm a nostalgia junkie. I also miss when new evolutions were added all the time rather than completely new evolutionary lines being added... I was really, really excited about getting a Mamoswine when I first got Pearl.

I just downloaded a GBC emulator for my phone and replayed Red, as my old copy doesn't work. Good, good times. I'm replaying all the games in chronological order so I can well and truly pick a favourite generation. Really, I like them all since there's always something to love about it. However...

Just hatched an egg I received in a trade. I was so worried it'd be something useless like a Zigzagoon, but no... it was a Zorua! A female one, too, so expect to see lots of level 1 Zoruas on the GTS.

Pacifidlog. I've always felt this connection to the ocean, and I like the idea of being a kid from a town in the sea, setting out to see land for the first time. Though if global warming existed in the Pokemon world (I'm sure Groudon would be involved somehow), I'd be so scared of losing my home.

I just picked the default "Li'l H" since my character name's Haruka. It sounds like a rapper name, which is kinda cool. It also fits because my real life self is short.
