- Ice needs more resistances
- Grass could use less weaknesses
- Poison could be SE against more than just Grass
Whether this is fitted with a new type or a slight alteration of existing types, sure.
Black and White are looking to be great games, no doubt. With the confirmed additions of flowing animations, re-usable TMs, triple battles, and great-looking pokemon, I'm definitely looking forward to picking up a copy as soon as I can.
Although you can't help but think of Emerald and Platinum...
Re: New type combinations?
Normal/Ghost
Each type is immune to the others weakness (Ghost & Fighting, respectively), leaving the Dark type as the only weakness.
Definitely a challenge to create a Pokemon resembling both of these traits.
You can have the TM reflect :)
I'll have to trade it to you through a geodude afterwards since scyther will be holding metal coat.
ps: just realized there was a sticky for this (my bad)
so i'll just private message you now.
I've never used wi-fi, friend codes, etc. so I may need a walkthrough.
Anyone up for evolving my Scyther and trading it back to me? If you'd like I could throw in another pokemon as a bonus (it would probably be something you could easily catch on your own as I just got to Eckruteak). Thanks!
If they included three regions in one game, that is what I would call taking a step forward. Something unpredicted by, most likely, ANY fan of the series.
I'm rooting for it, but I'm not getting my hopes up. All in all, I'd rather have two regions of quality rather than three watered down...
Re: Trainer Journal - Post your game's status here!
Started a new game on my Red Version this morning!
So far I've picked up my starter, who happens to be my favourite pokemon of the series. I've been grinding left of Viridian city so I can beat Gary (I lost the first two times...).
Team...
Ingame, I don't see why not.
For competitive battling, it depends. If you're good at predicting fire/ground switch-ins, then it could be pretty useful (but EQ would hit the fire pokemon a lot harder). However since Steelix is so slow, aqua-tails usefulness may be outsped by almost any other...
Re: Your favorite pokemon from each geneartion?
i) Charmander/Oddish
ii) Quagsire/Furret/Hoppip/Espeon
iii) Gardevoir/Nuzleaf
iv) Drifblim/Rampardos/Glaceon
Favourite pokemon still being Charmander.
