Hey all. I used to be able to get into the chats just fine. Now, for some reason, it keeps giving me this error:

[19:45] Connecting...
[19:45] Error : Not connected
[19:45] Unable to connect : java.net.SocketException : Software caused connection abort: connect

I updated my Java, and it still doesn't work...I tried downloading mIRC and I still had the same sort of error. :(

Does anyone have any ideas? I didn't see another thread about chat errors, so sorry if this is a duplicate.
 
Try connecting from a different port on mIRC. So for irc.systemnet.info try port 6660 instead of 6667.
 
Now 6660 isn't working, and I tried everything in the 666x range and no luck, still. It says "Unable to resolve server" in mIRC >_< Any idea what I can do?
