“I now announce you King, and Queen, of Valla.”

The surrounding swarm of people applauded and cheered. Both the royal families of Hoshido and Nohr were standing together, seeing their shared brother stand upon the raised stage with his wife, Azura. Most of Corrin’s retainers were standing behind them; all grinning but maintaining their posture and elegant professionalism.

Corrin turned to his newly anointed Queen. “It’s good to see them all together.”

“It is. We did it, didn’t we?”

    Corrin nodded. “Indeed we did.”

The coronation ceremony continued into the night, commoners and nobles interacting above the constant clash of Hoshidan and Nohrian music in the background. The cultural fusion delighted the new Vallite royal family. They were sitting at a large stretched table, facing down its wide array of food and people. Corrin turned to Felicia and Jakob, who were standing behind him on either side.

    “Sit down and enjoy.”

Jakob let protocol interfere. “But sir-“

“Jakob, I’m king. Do as I say.”

    “…Yes, master Corrin.”

“We don’t need formalities. We’ve known each other for long enough.” Felicia just giggled gleefully and waltzed to a spare seat about a third down the table’s length. Corrin surveyed the overly large space, and saw all his retainers but one. “Where’s Gunter?”

“He’s probably just taking a break. We all know he needs it after being possessed for several weeks. You did say he could have a break…”

    “I know… I just thought he would’ve said goodbye, that’s all. I’m sure everything’s fine.”

“It’s over, Corrin, you can relax.” Azura was as calming as always. However, Corrin still remained cautious and at unease. After every bite, he glanced down the table, twisted to view the back of the castle, and double checked the door at the room’s end. Ryoma eventually noticed his odd behaviour and took him into the corner of the room.

    “Corrin, what are you doing?”

    “I’m enjoying the food.”

“No you’re not. What are you really doing?”

“I’m just making sure everything’s okay. That’s all.”

“*sigh* You can stop trying to protect everyone now, Corrin. Everything is finally o-“

    CRASH!

The cream-coloured walls of the castle’s north end had been replaced by brown dust. Corrin ignored the screams and headed towards Azura. He reached her seat and clasped her hand. He began to sprint towards the other end of the castle, before that wall also buckled. From within the dust, Corrin could make out two red eyes.

    “We’re coming. We’re coming.”

Their words echoed continuously in Corrin’s head.

    “We’re already here.”

For the purpose of Flavour Text, Corrin will be a male as that’s what I chose in all paths. I’ll also be using the relationships I used in the games.
This is a multi-faction game. It is also a role-madness bastard game, but I have still tried to balance it (as well as ME and Zexy) to the best of our abilities.

    1. All Bulbagarden and War Room rules apply.
    2. There is strictly no outside communication allowed other than what is provided by me.
    3. There is no name-claiming or quoting/screenshots from PMs. However, there is role claiming and alignment claiming.
    4. If you change your username during the game, you must state the change in thread and mention the M.O.D. and I.
    5. Please remain active. If this doesn’t occur, I have a right to ask for a sub or modkill you.
    6. Day phases will last 48 hours unless hammered or otherwise specified. Night phases will be 24 hours, unless otherwise specified.
    7. Dead players can have one post after death, but it cannot contain any game related information.
    8. All lynch options (including No Lynch) may be hammered via Hyper-Majority. Hammers are effective immediately. A Hyper-Majority will occur after 66%, rounded up, of votes that target the one outcome.
    9. If all players in the game have placed a vote, the phase will end.
    10. If a draw in votes happens, a No Lynch will occur.
    11. The hosts will announce when special conditions such as MYLO or LYLO will be active.
    12. No loophole abuse.
    13. The host may change the rules. If this occurs, it will be clearly displayed.
    14. Vote with this structure VOTE: [PLAYER]. You can unvote with the same structure by using UNVOTE: [PLAYER].
    15. To show that you’ve read the rules, please state your favourite character, class, weapon or ability from FE Fates.
    16. Have fun!

  • Night 0 ~ Role PM Phase

Night 0 has begun. I will begin sending out Role PMs now. However, DON'T confirm until a later post signalling that all have been sent. Due to the nature of the game, there may be questions. Feel free to ask any questions about your role or things about the setup I can answer. Good luck and I hope you all have fun :)

Day 1 will begin in 10 hours and 25 minutes. This phase is for confirming, questions and Role PMs only. No actions can be made unless otherwise specified.

Also, I'll be including some of my favourite pieces of music from the game that I think are relevant to the mood of the FT. :)

    “We’re already here.”

Several red eyes opened and tore through the dust. Dark brown figures followed the red dots out of the hazed air; their skin resembling that of the elderly.

“Gods! They look dead.” They moved like the elderly too, shifting forward slowly as their limbs dragged behind. They held weapons cumbersomely, slowly swinging them from side to side as they somehow maintained balance. Ryoma slid the Raijinto out elegantly, satisfied from the ring of metal clashing against metal in the background. He leapt forward and swung the katana at one of the monster’s faces, but crashed against the creature’s axe. Its jaw unhinged and hung low, roaring with an inner strength. Black smoke seeped from its mouth and hung in the air. The monster stood up straight as though possessed, and began swinging wildly with the axe. Ryoma managed to deflect each swing, but this creature had more strength than the elderly. Corrin dashed past Ryoma and put the Yato through the creature’s head. It roared once more before fading into dust and becoming one with the air.

    “Ryoma, what was that?”

“They’re not Faceless. They seem… smarter.”

    “*grumble*and dead*grumble*”

    CLING

Corrin pivoted and saw Kaze’s body holding a glowing purple arrow. “This almost hit you, milord.”

“Uh, thankyou Kaze.” The green haired ninja began to lead Corrin to refuge, but his lord refused. “What about Azura and the others?”

    “Already taken care of milord.”

“But we can’t leave civilians here.”

“We’ve got an army coming in sir. But now, it has been agreed that we must protect you.”

“But I don’t want to be protected. I’m fighting Kaze.”

His retainer remained silent. “As you wish milord. What would you like me to do now?”

“Lead the people to safety. Ryoma and I will gather the army and we’ll begin fighting.” Kaze flashed out of existence and reappeared in the middle of the hall. He began guiding the people out of the building, whilst throwing shurikens at approaching enemies. Corrin darted back towards the source of the horde, lighting up the dust with a fire tome and allowing clearer vision.

“Aarghh!” The dead ran at him from all sides, growling relentlessly as their numbers grew exponentially. Corrin swung, flipped and stabbed like a professional. The Yato was glowing with fire and spinning like a chainsaw.

He heard a scream outside of the dust and ran towards it. Once reaching the clean air, he saw Elise and Sakura being cornered by the creatures as they screamed for help.

“Sakura! Elise!” He used the fire tome to throw a ball of flames at their oppressors. They growled and turned towards him, beginning to sprint with a newfound rage and power. Corrin held back the Yato and readied himself for a strike, but was hit from the side. He stumbled down and rolled down the stairs of the throne. His darting eyes could just catch a glimpse of a clear silhouette of a man. In his transparent hand was a translucent sword, which Corrin just blocked as it swung down. He saw in his peripheral vision that the dark creatures were metres away from him. With one last push, he reached for his Dragonstone+, but his vision was interrupted by ribbons of green and stars of yellow. The world become black, but partially returned in the form of a flame flickering to his right.

    “What in the world…”

“Ah, master Corrin. I hope your interdimensional travels were well received from your body’s point of view.” Corrin couldn’t make out the face, but knew exactly who it was.

    “Where are we, Odin?”

“Who do you call Odin, young king of drastic inexperience? Yes, I once was Odin the Dark, but he evolved into this masterpiece. You’re now in the mystical presence of the Dark Wandering Saviour! Or The Darkness Desolator, because alliteration sounds cool. And with my hand of extremely cosmic power, I will heal your aching bones and set your mind free of troubles.”

“Heehee. Oop.” A small shrill of crazy delight was cut off by its owner.

“It’s okay, my beautiful fair maiden in distress. Your husband is here to protect you from the corrupt forces of destruction and desolation! I have even saved the Vallite King from meeting his dismal end!” More giggles were let go from Peri’s distinct crazy character.

Corrin mumbled, “You’ve got to be kidding me…”

“You seem to be holding anxiety milord.”

    “You think, Odin?”

“Gah! How can a mere mortal refer to the Darkness Desolator as merely ‘Odin?’ I possess the power of the Gods, and the great power of the Mystletainn that has flowed through my supernatural veins and arteries before.”

“ODIN!” Corrin breathed out slowly and regained his composure. “Have you even thought about Ophelia?”

“My mind has dwelled over her existence in this world, yes, but I have been told by my fellow gods that she has a secure position within her Deeprealm. She’s hardly in danger from the terrible forces that have begun to corrupt our world and spread the darkness.”

“That’s encouraging… I just can’t stop thinking about everyone. I need to get back out there.”

“Before we go King Corrin of the Great Ages of Triumph, I believe I may be able to provide you with some crucial information that will aid you in your quest for seeking victory over our new enemy.”

    “…Yes?”

“I am quite familiar with these creatures. I know enough to dismantle their power with my own amazing special moves. And if necessary, I can utilise the great power of my ancient and uncontrollable sword hand. It yearns for the taste of its long partner, the Mystletainn…”

    “Great. Then tell me.”

“However, my great friend Laslow has more knowledge on the matter. I suggest we locate his current whereabouts within this battleground of despair and heartache. Then he can educate us-“

    “ODIN!”

Odin’s voice died down gloomily. “Sorry milord.”

“Heehee. Oop. Heehee.” Peri followed in the background, continuing to giggle despite her best efforts to contain it. Odin joined her.

Meanwhile, a silvery figure of air approached the throne, surrounded by a growing army of creatures and monsters. “The throne of Valla… I’ll make them pay.” The figure twirled and sat down on the golden chair. “Let’s begin by finding my father. I want to kill him with my own hands.”

Across the castle, Odin’s mind popped with an idea. “When the great exploits of the Darkness Desolator are published, they’ll remember this as the ‘Mystery of the Risen.’”

It is now Day 1. The phase will last for 50 hours (due to an unforeseen commitment), unless ended via Hyper-Majority or all players deciding their vote. With 15 players, a Hyper-Majority will be reached with 10 votes.

Corrin, Peri and Odin treaded along the dust-stricken halls, eyeing each corner for the presence of what Odin called ‘The Risen.’

“Can you give me any info Odin?”

“Oh yes. The Risen are incarnations of the powerful dead. They come from my… *cough* I mean, they don’t come from here. I’ve just heard of the distant tales of these amazing heroes who destroyed them and their leader. Have you heard of the Shepherds?”

    “Like those that protect sheep?”

    “…Never mind.”

The next few metres were silent. In turn, the silence was interrupted by the distant sound of an echoed growl. This catalysed Corrin’s pace as he ran away from the other two, whom both halted out of fear. He turned the corner and saw Azura’s body huddled in the corner, cowering from two Risen. A crack of lightning darted from Corrin’s hand, temporarily paralysing the two enemies as he closed in. He gripped his Yato and slashed with great power, embedded the legendary blade into both of the creatures faces. They growled and disappeared into smoke and dust.

    “Are you okay?”

“Corrin!” She yelped and pointed to the other end of the corridor. At its end stood Anankos in a human form.

“It’s nice for you to see me this way.”

    “How?”

“I have the power of the First Dragons flowing in my veins. I am capable of anything.”

“I can see you’ve been stripped of that power though.”

    “And that’s why I’m here.”

“I’ve defeated you once. And I’m stronger now.”

“Don’t lie to yourself. But before you die, and want to see your face drown in misery one last time.”

“I don’t want to hear it!” Corrin dashed forward and connected with Anankos’ own sword. The two exchanged blows and swings; the power of their clashes caused blasts of energy to damage the surrounding walls. Azura was beginning to come out of shock, and had noticed Kaze running from the other end of the hall.

Anankos’ skill with a sword was much more plentiful than Corrin had anticipated. He had already cut Corrin several times, but it didn’t ease the shock when Anankos had a clean hit. Corrin’s wrist began to bleed as he dropped the Yato. He stumbled back against the wall, clutching his arm and grunting.

“Now’s the time, Corrin. Sumeragi isn’t your father.”

“Don’t try and intimidate me. I’ve fought to bring my family together, and you’ll never overcome that.”

“Ah, Corrin. I, am your father.”

“What? No! That’s impossible!” Corrin rolled to the Yato and grasped it with his left hand. He swung up and connected with Anankos’ sword once. He dropped the Yato once again, pushed back into the unforgiving density of the ground. Anankos raised his sword, and prepared for a stab to Corrin’s heart.

“Milord!” Kaze appeared from out of the shadows. The loyal ninja grabbed at Anankos’ sword, but was overwhelmed from his humanised power. He fell back onto Corrin. He threw the sword down into Kaze’s and Corrin’s chest, both gasping and losing focus on the world. Anankos immediately grabbed a shuriken from the immobilised Kaze and pitched it into Azura’s chest. The Queen of Valla collapsed, her head falling next to her husband’s.

    “I’m sorry, Corrin…”

Corrin’s eyes only just managed to view his wife one last time. “I love you.”

Corrin’s eyes lost focus and his chest stopped moving. Kaze grunted a final time and also suffered the same tragic fate. Silent tears fell from Azura’s eyes and stained the dusted floor. “I love you too.” She looked towards the ceiling and breathed heavily. We made a change. I just hope they continue… Her thoughts stopped with heart. All three of them were on the ground, surrounded by a subtle peace in their horrific world.

    HumanDawn was lynched. They were…

    Hello HumanDawn. You are Corrin.

    latest
    latest

You are the avatar and protagonist in Fire Emblem Fates. You were born as a Vallite, passed as a prince/princess of Hoshido, but stolen at a young age and raised as a member of the Nohrian royal family. You have the unique ability to turn into a dragon, as the power of dragons flows within your veins. Additionally, you are chosen as the wielder of the legendary blade, Yato, which becomes the Fire Emblem when exposed to the other legendary weapons.

In the Revelation path, you split from both kingdoms and vow to unite them to stop a greater force. Because of this goal, you are aligned with Corrin’s Army and are their 2 x Bulletproof Weak Cult Leader. For the first three nights of the game, you have the ability to recruit members from the other kingdoms in order to help you achieve your goal. However, after the first three nights, the alignment of skies will occur and the gateway to Valla will be blocked off. If you try to recruit a member of the mafia, you will die. However, your Bulletproof status can be used to counteract this. If you die, the whole cult will die. You will know all of the cult’s members, and they will all know you. Upon recruitment, you will find out their character, but not role. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. You can recruit by replying to this PM with Recruit: PLAYER.

You are aligned with Corrin’s Army, and win when all of the Vallite Forces have been eliminated.

HumanDawn was lynched. They were aligned with Corrin’s Army and were their 2 x Bulletproof Weak Cult Leader.

Alolan Ninetales has died. They were…

Hello Alolan Ninetales. You are Azura.

    275

You are the Vallite princess who was passed as a member of the Nohrian royal family, but was stolen by Hoshido as revenge for Corrin’s theft. You are quite secretive, and are secretly Corrin’s cousin. You sing beautifully, and when in conjunction with your pendant and the song “Lost in Thoughts All Alone,” you can generate a special power. However, this power comes at a high cost, and inflicts severe pain on you.

As said above, you have the great ability to sing and mesmerise the audience. Because of this talent (that allows you to make a unit move twice) and your close bond with Corrin, you are aligned with Corrin’s Army and are their Singer and 1 x Motivator. If you die, a random role from the game will be revealed to the Vallite Forces. Additionally, during one night phase of the game, you can inspire a player by singing, and allowing their night action to occur twice that one night. You can do this by replying to this PM with Sing To: PLAYER. You will lose if your faction leader dies.

You are aligned with Corrin’s Army, and win when all of the Vallite Forces have been eliminated.

Alolan Ninetales has died. They were aligned with Corrin’s Army and were their Singer and 1 x Motivator.

    Iteru has died. They were…

    Hello Iteru. You are Kaze.

    latest

You are the green-haired ninja who joins Corrin in all routes of the game. You are a kind and quiet ninja, who becomes Corrin’s loyal retainer. You have a twin brother, Saizo, who is extremely different to you.

You are involved with the Hoshido royal family, but are willing to join another kingdom for the right cause. Because of your good judgement, you are an Alignment Chooser. You can either choose to be aligned with Hoshido, Nohr, Corrin’s Army or yourself. If you choose to be aligned with Hoshido, Nohr or Corrin’s Army, you will adopt their wincon and become a 1 x Ninja Kill and Bodyguard. If you choose to remain by yourself, you will become a Survivor. To help you survive until the endgame, you have a 1 x Ninja Kill and 1 x Bulletproof. Your ninja kill will be undetectable by Trackers, Watchers or any other similar roles that are hypothetically in this game. You can use your ninja kill by replying to this PM with Throw Shuriken At: PLAYER. Your bodyguard ability can be used to protect a player from the nightkill, but you will die if this player is targeted. However, this can’t be used alongside the ninja kill. You can use your bodyguard ability by replying to this PM with Jump In Front Of: PLAYER.

You will choose your alignment before the beginning of the game, and have your wincon adopted accordingly.

You have chosen to be aligned with Corrin’s Army. You will lose if your cult leader dies. You win when all of the Vallite Forces have been eliminated.

Iteru has died. They were aligned with Corrin’s Army and were their 1 x Ninja and Bodyguard.

Odin and Peri came around the corner after finding which way Corrin had gone. Anankos stood at the end of the corridor, smirking and looking them in the eye. His body vanished into the wind, and left the image of the three dead heroes to embed in their minds. For once, both were speechless.

It is now Night 1. The phase will end in 21 hours and 20 minutes.

Day 2 ~ Chapter 30 (Innocence is Red)
  • Day 2 ~ Chapter 30 (Innocence is Red)

The silvery figure sitting in the throne smiled. The smile somehow remained mischievous and grim at the same time.

    “Any updates on their army?”

A translucent outline of Iago strode confidently up to his new master. “Corrin was killed. As well as Azura and his retainer, Kaze. It seems we’ve had a good start.”

“Any news on my father’s whereabouts?”

Iago’s face instantly drooped, if that was possible. “…Not- yet- GAH!” A hole appeared in Iago’s ghostly body. “*gasp* But we’re- very- *gasp* close. Ah!” He fell to the ground, panting and sucking in large volumes of air.

“Don’t disappoint me, Iago. I can take your life whenever I wish. Make sure you still provide a use to me.”

    “…Yes, master.”

“Now, bring in who we have captured.” Several invisible Vallite soldiers dragged in members of the Hoshidan and Nohrian kingdoms. From Hoshido, Hinoka, Setsuna, Sakura and Hana were brought in, then rested against the hard, jagged edges of the damaged walls. From Nohr, Elise and her two retainers, Arthur and Effie, were sat beside them. Only Hinoka managed to talk, yelling jeers and insults to her captors as she wrestled tirelessly.

“I will never die to the hands of you, invisible scum!”

The silvery figure remained sitting with their back turned, shielding their face from the royalty behind them.

“Is that so? Iago, choose one.” Their monotone voice gave no impression of a gender. Yet it made Iago fear for his life.

“Eenee, meenee, minee, mo!” His finger rested and pointed at Sakura’s face. “Kill the innocent one first. Show we have no mercy.”

    “Ah! No! Hin-Hinoka!”

    “Sakura! Stop you monster!”

“Aha, this is entertaining. I wonder what would happen if I told you your dear Corrin was also dead.”

Hinoka face drooped more than Iago’s earlier attempt. Elise began to cry and sob, with her only comfort in the form of the brave Effie.

“It’s okay milord… I’m sure he’s just trying to intimidate us.”

“Oh shut up, all of you desperate sicklings. Drag her out already. We don’t have time to waste.”

Sakura’s weak attempts at fighting back looked as useless as her screams. One of the soldiers covered her mouth, muffling her fear and hemming in the terror. The silvery figure spoke. “Sumeragi, execute her.” The reluctant shadow of Hoshido’s former king walked wretchedly into view. His spirit looked weak, and his face was hardly visible against the powdered walls.

    “No. I’m not obeying you.”

“…Fine. I’ll kill both of you.”

“Just kill me. Let Sakura live.”

The silvery figure paused. “Iago, make their hearts bleed. Including our pathetic former king over there.” Iago lifted his hand and a tome, spawning a raging fireball of dark purple and held it above Sakura’s body. She finally spoke, with more confidence than ever.

“I’d rather die innocently than live with your guilt. I’d be ashamed to live if I were you.” She paused and looked fiercely at her family. “Keep going. I’ll see you soon.” Hinoka’s, Hana’s and Elise’s screams could barely be heard as the fireball crashed upon her graceful body. The smoke cleared and revealed her figure again, but this time, it was scorched and overcome with the deeds of evil.

Rocket Queen was killed. They were…

Hello Rocket Queen. You are Sakura.

    latest

You are the youngest child of the Hoshidan royal family. You are a healer, and are extremely shy. You find it easier to talk to people via letters, as you don’t interact with them face-to-face. As a result, you are easily flustered by questions. Corrin eventually asks you for help with this problem.

You are one of the youngest characters, and are very innocent due to your healing role in the army. Because of this fact, you are aligned with Hoshido and are their Innocent Child and 1 x Doctor. At any stage during the game (any type of phase), you can reveal your alignment to Hoshido to the entire game through a post made by the host. You will be confirmed to be aligned with this kingdom. You can do this by replying to this PM with Become Shy Now. Additionally, during one night phase only, you can protect somebody from a night kill. You can do this by replying to this PM with Heal: PLAYER.

You are aligned with Hoshido, and win when all of Nohr and the Vallite Forces have been eliminated.

Rocket Queen was killed. They were aligned with Hoshido and were their Innocent Child and 1 x Doctor.

“Sakura…” Hinoka let out a rare collection of tears. Elise’s were more common, but just as strong.

“We now control you. People will continue to die, until I see my father.”

It is now Day 2. The phase will last for 48 hours, unless ended via Hyper-Majority or all players have voted. With 11 players alive, this will be achieved with 7 votes.

“That was- somewhat satisfying. But not nearly as satisfying as seeing my mother watch as I suck the life out of my father’s eyes. Iago, find him.”

“Yes, master.” Iago scuttled away awkwardly.

The silvery figure lightly stood up from their throne, grabbing a hood and chucking it over her head. “I’m going to look for my father. I’m sure one of you would like to kill off another one.” The figure slipped away and left the captives to the murderous invisibles. One of them growled happily, pushing others out of the way and looked into the dazed eyes of Setsuna.

“Hehehe. You’re next.” Hans’ gravelly voice didn’t deter Setsuna.

“Oh, you have an axe. That’s not good. Oh well. It’s better me than master Hinoka.”

    “No it’s not, Set-“

“Don’t interrupt me, milady… What was I saying again? Did I get caught in a trap?”

“Setsuna, listen to me. Can you do any damage?”

“I do damage wherever I go milady. I’m a magnet for trouble.”

    “I don’t mean that.”

“…OH. You mean can I hurt any of the soldiers while they take me so we can escape. That’s a good plan… Although, something tells me they’ll know what we’re doing.” Hinoka barely managed to contain a scream.

“…At least the others know what to do.” Hinoka burst up and broke the rope around her hands. She disarmed one of the nearby soldiers and stole their lance, spinning it expertly and taking out three more in a brief period of time.

“Oh no you don’t.” Hans dashed at her and swung heavily with the axe.

    “Setsuna, untie the others.”

    “But I’m tied up milady.”

“*sigh* I undid your rope earlier.”

Setsuna turned her head and saw the dismantled rope on the floor. “OH, okay… How did that happen?”

    “Setsuna!”

“Uh, Right. Untie the others. I can actually get somebody else out of a trap for once.”

Hinoka continued to slash with the lance, blocking each of Hans’ attacks and following up with an attack of her own. For a fleeting moment, Hinoka twisted her head back to see how Setsuna was doing. Hans took advantage of the moment and hit Hinoka’s face with the end of his handle. Hinoka’s nose puffed out into a swollen red mess, and stumbled back.

    “Milady!”

“Just get them out of the ropes, Setsuna!” Hans swung down and hit the ground as Hinoka rolled to the left. She continued to roll around, dodging as many attempts as she could. She was beginning to tire; her breaths becoming more shallow and vision becoming blurred from the sweat and tears filling her eyes.

“Got it!” Setsuna slowly straightened her back and began to walk towards the exit. The others sprinted past her, except Arthur. He darted to Hinoka’s aid, picking up another axe on the ground and clashing with Hans’. The crazy murderer growled and adopted the insanity of an animal, swinging carelessly and violently. Despite Arthur’s heroic efforts, he was hit cleanly but Hans’ most powerful swing. He fell to the ground, succumbing to his injuries. Hinoka pressed on and continued to instigate a fight. Effie slowly held the crying Elise back, whilst Setsuna delicately picked up a bow and aimed it at Hans. Hinoka’s blurred vision hindered her ability to anticipate Hans’ attacks, allowing him to once again knock her to the ground. He swung down with the axe and hit Hinoka’s chest. He swung around and grasped Arthur’s hand axe, and threw it at Setsuna. Setsuna released her arrow at the same time. The axe hit Setsuna in the torso. The arrow just glanced Hans’ shoulder. Setsuna collapsed like the others. Arthur, Hinoka and Setsuna were all on the ground, breathing acutely and trying to see someone’s face one last time. Arthur managed to push out one last message.

“Lady Elise… I hope I was your hero, one last time…” He stopped breathing, and soon, Setsuna suffered the same fate. Hinoka looked at Effie and Elise.

“I wish *cough* we didn’t waste time fighting each other. I’m sorry.” She stopped breathing as well. There were no Hoshidan princesses left.

    DarthWolf13 was lynched. They were…

    Hello DarthWolf13. You are Hinoka.

    latest

You are the eldest princess of Hoshido. You fly a pegasus; a decision you made after the theft of Corrin. You are mature and determined, displaying your courage several times throughout each version of the game.

You are extremely protective of your family, and as said before, you ride a flying pegasus. Because of these traits, you are aligned with Hoshido and are their Seraph Knight. At any time during the game, you can choose to protect another player from all nightkills for the game’s entirety (unless you die or they die from another method). You can do this by replying to this PM with Fly to Save: PLAYER.

You are aligned with Hoshido, and win when all of Nohr and the Vallite Forces have been eliminated.

Elise gasped and continued to cry as Effie picked her up and carried her away. “We don’t have time, Lady Elise. I’m sorry.”

It is now Night 2. The phase will last for 23 hours and 30 minutes unless otherwise specified.

Elise and Effie ran down the halls with adrenaline pumping in their veins. Elise had finally managed to hold back the tears, and began to search for Xander, Camilla and Leo. However, her wish didn’t come true straightaway.

    “Beruka, where is Lady Camilla?”

    “…I don’t know.”

    “Can you help with anything?!”

    “…Do you need someone killed?”

“In a minute, I might. Agh!” The dysfunctional retainers continued to fight bitterly. Ignorance was truly bliss. Elise slowed down and approached them carefully.

“Please stop fighting.” Selena’s face became shocked, but Beruka’s remained emotionless.

“Uh! Lady Elise. I’m so sorry milady.” She surveyed behind her and only saw Effie. “Are you okay? Where’s-“ Effie’s stern eyes interrupted her and said it all. “…I’m sorry.”

Elise straightened and tried her best to act like a professional princess. “Thankyou.” She paused, contemplated and asked, “How do you tell someone that a person they love has died?”

“I usually kill the target, so I don’t know.”

“Beruka!” Selena also paused and thought about it. “You’re a princess. You’ll know how to do it when the time comes.” Elise smiled reluctantly.

Meanwhile, Jakob led Ryoma and Xander down the pathways of the castle. “I believe they’re this way milord. It’s truly a terrible sight.” He choked upon finishing the sentence. They ran around the corner, instantly confronted by the three bodies on the ground. Felicia was crying over her husband Kaze’s dead body, whilst Flora comforted her as she took in the enormity of the situation. Ryoma and Xander both headed towards Corrin’s and Azura’s bodies. Both had their eyes aimed at the other.

“Gods!” Xander couldn’t supress tears, but his Hoshidan counterpart could. Ryoma knelt down beside Corrin and cleared his throat.

“Corrin… and Azura… I…” Xander collapsed beside him, breaking down into tears. The Nohrian prince has never been so unset. No one had ever seen a tear fall from his face. “Xander. Stand up?”

    “What?”

    “Get up. It’s not over.”

“You can’t be serious. Can’t I mourn over my brother and sister’s death?”

“They’re my siblings too. But I have more, and so do you. We can’t afford to lose more. We need to stop this now.”

    “Are you heartless?”

“No. But I have to stand up against the situation.”

    “Can’t you wait?”

Ryoma couldn’t reply. He was interrupted by a distant voice straining against itself. “Don’t. You. See? He doesn’t care about family.” Takumi’s body was contorted. Purple wisps emanated from its surface. His eyes were glowing purple, and his voice sounded as though it was competing with itself. He held the bow and aimed it at Ryoma, muttering and twitching uncontrollably.

    “Takumi?”

    “Kill… Kill… KILL!”

    “Takumi! Stop!”

“Gah!” Takumi’s face stopped straining. The purple wisps faded away and his eyes cleared. “I’m… sorry.” Takumi fell to the ground, Saizo’s body standing over the fallen Hoshidan prince.

    Feenie was killed. They were…

    Hello Feenie. You are Takumi.

    260

You are the younger prince of Hoshido. You become jealous very easily; an attribute that is later exploited. You wield the legendary magical bow, the Fujin Yumi. You have also been said to be capable with a sword.

In the Birthright and Conquest paths, you are corrupted by Anankos after falling into the Bottomless Canyon. Because of this tragedy, you are aligned with Hoshido and are their 2 x Vigilante. On two nights only, you can kill a target that you believe is from an opposing faction. You can do this by replying to this PM with Shoot Arrow At: PLAYER.

You are aligned with Hoshido, and win when all of Nohr and the Vallite Forces have been eliminated.

Feenie was killed. They were aligned with Hoshido and were their 2 x Vigilante.

“Takumi!” Ryoma stumbled towards his younger brother and collapsed. He still didn’t tear up, but looked up at Saizo bitterly.

“I had to milord. It was either you or him. And… he talked to me beforehand. He wanted me to kill him if it ever overtook him again.”

    “Again?”

“He was possessed earlier. Azura helped him out of it. Not even Corrin knew what happened. He didn’t want anyone to worry. Only Azura, Kagero and I knew about it.” Saizo’s wife was standing behind him, looking downwards and zoning out of the situation. Ryoma looked back down and cried out in pain. It was emotional pain.

From Xander’s end of the room, Effie, Selena, Beruka and Elise entered. Elise broke down into tears, Selena tried to fight them back, Effie consoled them and Beruka didn’t stir. Beruka took it upon herself to reveal the news.

    “King Ryoma…”

    “Yes?”

“I’m sorry. You are… the only Hoshidan royal left.” Ryoma finally surrendered to the tears. He didn’t speak. “They were both very brave. It was because of them that the others survived. You should be very proud. They said they loved you until their end.”

In a shaky voice, Ryoma responded, “Thankyou, Beruka.” Beruka nodded and retreated back behind Selena. Xander also cried for the loss of his wife, Hinoka.

“Beruka, that was beautiful. I didn’t know you could do that.”

“We will never speak of this again. I simply got a job done.”

Meanwhile, Leo and Camilla were fighting a horde of Risen in the castle interiors. Camilla had the advantage of air on her side, but unfortunately, Leo was the main target. “Leo! Duck!” Leo obliged and felt the force of the axe brush past his neck. It embedded itself into yet another Risen. Camilla flew and grabbed the axe again, swinging in circles to dispose of a large group of Risen.

“Stop!” Immediately, the Risen bowed down to the monotone voice. The hooded silvery figure stood at the top of the room, their arm reached out of the crowd of dead. “I need to save some of you for the end. I can kill them myself.” It was still for several moments, before a strike of lightning broke through the ceiling and hit Leo. The dark knight wasn’t powerful enough to survive the blast, and he collapsed with his horse.

    FinalArcadia was killed. They were…

    Hello FinalArcadia. You are Leo.

    275

You are the youngest son in the Nohrian royal family. You pursued a career in research and magic to excel in a field your older brother did not. You are very smart and sarcastic, and have to be as professional as possible at all times.

At the beginning of all routes, you appear to kill Kaze and Rinkah, but actually save them due to Corrin’s wishes. Because of this ability, you are aligned with Nohr and are their Faith Healer. Every night, you can protect somebody from the nightkill. However, if this person is already protected, you will undo their protection. You can do this by replying to this PM with Trick and Save: PLAYER.

You are aligned with Nohr, and win when all of Hoshido and the Vallite Forces have been eliminated.

FinalArcadia was killed. They were aligned with Nohr and were their Faith Healer.

A large portion of the roof began to collapse. It clipped Camilla’s wyvern’s wing, and both fell. More rubble fell on the two. They hopelessly lost to the barrage of debris connecting with their bodies.

TheCapsFan died in the endgame. They were…

    Hello TheCapsFan. You are Camilla.

    250

You are the eldest daughter of the Nohrian royal family. Despite your bewitching nature, you are ruthless with an axe and a wyvern. You dote constantly on Corrin, making sure that he is happy all the time.

You don’t hold back in fights, and will stop at nothing to protect your family (especially Corrin). Because of this characteristic, you are aligned with Nohr and are their 1 x Gladiator and 1 x Follower. During one day phase of the game, you can reset all votes and make only two lynch options available. One of these targets need to be yourself, while the other is up to your choosing. You can do this by replying to this PM with Enter Battle With: PLAYER. Additionally, during one night phase on the game, you can follow a player and see what action they performed. TheCapsFan died in the endgame. They were aligned with Nohr and were their 1 x Gladiator and 1 x Follower.

Silas had finally found his horse, and was on his way to search for the others. He finally reached the throne room, and was taken aback at what he saw. Most of the army laid there, all without life. Mozu’s and Hayato’s hands were inches away from each other. Azama was alone, and so was Oboro without Takumi. Hana and Hinata laid next to each other, with Subaki and Setsuna next to them. Kaden, Rinkah, Reina, Niles, Nyx, Charlotte, Benny, Keaton, Yukimara, Fuga and Shura filled out the rest of the room.

“Gah!” He felt a sharp pain in his back. He fell off his horse and barely managed to swing his body over to see his attacker. A ghostly Garon stood over him.

    “We’ve won this time.”

Back at Corrin’s death site, the remaining soldiers’ attention was drawn to a collection of white dust twirling around in a tornado. It glowed radiantly before it formed several figures. The first one was Corrin, and he was surrounded by the other fallen members of the army.

    “Corrin?”

“Hey. I bet you weren’t expecting this.”

Xander chuckled. “Even in the afterlife, you still have a sense of humour.”

    Elise yelped, “Corrin!”

“Hehe, hi Elise. I’m sorry everyone.”

    “It’s not your fault, Corrin.”

“I’m sorry I can’t be with you. But I’m not here for no reason. I know who can help stop this.”

    “Who?”

Odin and Peri had stolen Laslow and hidden him within a trap door of the castle. “Odin! Peri! Stop!”

“Not unless you call me by my proper title, mortal!”

    “Ugh! The Final Fantasiser?”

    “No.”

    “The Ancient Atypical?”

    “No.”

    “The Darkifier?”

    “No.”

    “Odin!”

“Fine, you were close enough. The Darkness Desolator will hear what you have to say.”

    “Why are you taking me?”

“I have had a vision from my ancestral beings.”

    “Oh no.”

“He’s actually right.” Odin stopped and the three retainers turned around. Ryoma and his wife Orochi, Saizo and Kagero, Xander, Elise and Effie, Beruka and Selena and Corrin’s remaining retainers all stood huddled together.

Eventually, the group approached the throne room, ready for a final battle. Xander spoke up. “This is for Corrin’s dream. This is for those who have fallen before us. We will not stop until that future of peace is realised. It’s time to stand up.” At the closed doors of the hall, the group once again met with the ghosts of their fallen family, this time accompanied by Mikoto, Sumeragi, Arete, Lilith and the Rainbow Sage. They merely smiled, before dispersing into the air as though they never existed. The Hoshidan and Nohrian kings walked forward together and pushed the door open. At the end of the room, Anankos, Garon, Hans and Iago stood by the golden throne, currently occupied by the silvery figure. The hooded person slowly lifted the hood off their head and revealed their face. Soleil’s eyes were purple, and her frame was glowing in a shiny silver. The silver had reached her shoulders, but her face was untainted.

“I finally get to reveal myself. Hello father. And mother, but I’m not angry with you.” Laslow and Selena choked. Their daughter was the reason their friends had been killed.

    “Soleil? Why?”

She laughed. “Why?! Maybe because I never see you. Maybe because whenever I do, you both fight. And you made me like you. A womaniser. I can’t dance. I can’t see my grandmother and her friends because you don’t want to go back. I want to see the rest of my family. I don’t know anyone here! I’m lonely in the Deeprealm. Why did you forget about me?!”

“We never forgot about you. We love you!”

“Then why don’t you ever listen?”

Laslow paused. “I’m… I’m sorry I made you feel this way. I didn’t think about it before telling you all these great stories of my life, that I forgot about yours. You didn’t deserve a father like me. So let me make it up to you. If you stop this now, I’ll do my absolute best to do what you want. Because that’s what you deserve.”

Anankos smirked. “You think she’s going to change. She’s obviously been exploited under my control. But her knowledge on the Risn helped. It helped me bring them to life here.”

“Ahh!” Soleil collapsed. The silver coating around her body began to creep over her face.

    “Soleil! Fight it!”

    “Ahh!”

“~You, are the ocean’s grey waves…~” From the other side of the room, Gunter was standing with Shigure, who now had Azura’s pendant wrapped around his neck. He continued to sing, ripples of water flowing through the air and surrounding Soleil’s body.

Anankos yelled. “No!” Shigure continued to sing, and eventually, he finished the fourth verse that his mother had taught him. The water crashed open and burst into little drops that pounded against the enemies. Soleil knelt on the ground, completely free of the silver coating. Instantly, Anankos growled and was consumed in a jet black aura. Slowly, his features began to change, and his dragon form was returning. Shigure dashed up to Soleil, as well as Laslow and Selena.

“I can take her back to the Deeprealms.”

“Good. Do that. Thankyou, Shigure.” He nodded.

    “Mother? Father? I’m so sorry.”

“Don’t be. But for now, you need to go back home.”

    “I can’t leave you here.”

“This will be our sacrifice for you. We both love you. And we’ll be with you always. We’ll see each other again. Let this world be yours. Even if we don’t win today, you can live safely and with your friends. Love them like you’d love us.”

    “Mother! Father! No!”

    “Goodbye darling.”

“No!” Shigure dragged Soleil back into a portal opened by his pendant. They entered the circle, with the portal’s end just allowing the sight of the whole group being hit by a massive fireball and body of a dragon. They were dead as the portal closed.

Congratulations to the Vallite Forces on a great game, and I hoped you all enjoyed. And thanks to @Zexy for being M.O.D. I’ll post some more stuff later, because this post is big enough as it is without questions, night actions and other stuff.

    Prologue ~ Corrupting Future's Heart
  • Prologue ~ Corrupting Future’s Heart

Soleil viewed the Deeprealms as secure, but as a confinement from life. The loneliness forbade her from interacting with real people. She wanted to be free. She wanted to know her family, and see the world her mother and father spoke of.

Ugh. Forget it. You’ve got a good life here. You’re safe… Like she usually did when she was angry, she grabbed a sword and approached a wooden figure. A large cylindrical base was at the bottom, with a small wooden stem connecting it to a large chest-shaped body and unnaturally looking head. It was devoid of life, but it still satisfied her urge to hit something. She sliced and thrust her sword into the tattered timber, adding to the many scars it already had.

“Stop! Being! So! Negative!” Each swing was more powerful than the first. She stopped afterwards, leant down and sucked in the fresh air of the Deeprealm. That decides it, she thought. I’m going to get back into the real life. She marched with a newfound purpose and approached the end of the Deeprealm. It felt like she stood at the edge of the world, and through the portal would be a universe of people and adventure. This is it. She took a large step forward, placing one foot in the portal. She felt the force try to suck her in and whisk her away. She took her foot back and waited. But are they right? She continued to think about her parents, eventually reimagining a fight when her mother yelled at her father because he flirted with Beruka. Mother is so irritated all the time… And father can’t stop winking at random girls… What would they know? She put her foot back into the portal, and readied her other one. She felt the force of an almighty impact collide with her torso just as she lifted her other leg. She was knocked to the side, unconscious and defenceless.

“That type of thinking is perfect. We need her.”

“Her mother and father were strong retainers for my children. She looks… weaker.”

“Garon, don’t be so negative. Soleil even understood that. And I have a feeling her mother and father told her some stories about their homeland. Maybe we can use that. Now, time for gaining her power…” Anankos’ human form raised his hand and held it above Soleil’s vulnerable body, stretching out his fingers until he felt the power of the First Dragons flowing through his arm. Purple smoke burst out from his hand, covering Soleil like a blanket. Her eyes opened violently and wide, remaining in that state until the smoke had entered her body. Her body stopped tensing and woke. Her eyes glowed in a dark shade of lavender, and small puffs of violet vapour dispersed from her mouth when she spoke.

“I hate the Deeprealms. My parents put me here. I’ll show them my potential.”

“Good. We can help you do that. Just tell us everything you know about your rightful world. That world where you belong.”

“…There were Risen. And they ruined life…”

That was relatively short, but I hope it’s okay. I’ll post the prologue soon. Also, did anyone notice my Star Wars reference in the FT earlier?

    Epilogue ~ Heirs of Fate
  • Epilogue ~ Heirs of Fate

I thought I preferred solitude. I was obviously wrong. Shigure was concealed within a cave in Valla, absorbing the warmth from a fire and singing. The pendant laid on a rock beside him. Its presence gave him mixed feelings. In one way, he hated its existence. It was just another reminder that everyone from his world was gone. The adults… The children… Everyone. After he took Soleil through the portal back home, things were never the same. Even she died. But then it reminded him of the good memories. He didn’t know which were more powerful.

“~Flowing like time. The path is, yours to climb…”

    “It is your path.”

Shigure stopped and looked up. Surprisingly, Shigure wasn’t too shocked. “Hello mother. Father.” Azura and Corrin had looked better. Both were fading out of existence. Half their bodies had become completely transparent, with their upper bodies resembling colourful fog.

“I remember the days when you were happy to see us visit.”

“Times change. People die. Things become different.”

    “But we’re still here.”

“For how much longer? For how much longer, do I need to see you unexpectedly turn up and pretend that everything’s the same?” When neither parent replied, Shigure looked back down and felt shame. “I’m sorry. I know neither of you deserve that. I’m just… tired.”

    “Have you given up?”

“It’s hard not to. Anankos has won. I can’t stop that. I don’t intend to waste my life by throwing myself towards him anyway. I have the pendant, but it’s hardly enough if I’m alone and can’t even get to him alive.”

    “What if you had help?”

    “…What?”

“That’s right. You can have help.” Corrin finally took over for Azura.

“I hope you don’t mean Faceless. I’m not working with those things.”

    “I’m talking about humans.”

Shigure began to question his parents’ fading minds. “They’re all dead. I can’t see how that possibility exists.”

Azura took back over. “They’re only dead in this realm. There are other existences in which Corrin made a different choice.”

    “What do you mean?”

“There are existences in which Corrin actually chose to side with each of the kingdoms. There’s a world in which Corrin sided Hoshido and the Hoshidan children lived. And there’s a world in which Corrin sided with Nohr and the Nohrian children lived. They can help you get there.”

“Then I can sing the fourth forbidden verse and seal Anankos away with me forever?”

    “There is another way…”

    “Can it guarantee success?”

    “No, but-“

“Then it doesn’t matter. I’d rather my world live on without me than me living without it. I just need to find them.” When he looked up, he saw his parents’ bodies sharply become smaller. Only their heads were faintly visible under the glow of the dying Vallite sun. “Thankyou. Thankyou for always staying around. It’s… it’s helped me stay sane.”

Corrin and Azura talked in sync. “We wouldn’t want to do anything else than stay by your side. And even if you can’t see us, just listen to our voices.”

“Okay.” He replied to their subtle smiles with a grim, but genuinely grateful smile. His eyes darted downwards for a moment to check on the fire, poking at its core lightly with a singed stick. He glanced back up, finding disappointment when neither of his parents stood where they were a moment ago. “I’ll make you proud. I’ll bring everyone back.”

Again, it’s relatively short, but this ties the main game (or at least, the part I created) to the ‘Heirs of Fate’ DLC package. Hope it’s okay. :)
