How do i find chimeco in emerald?

Where do i find chimeco in emerald and what is the strategy u choose to find it? i haven't found it yet and ive been playing in 1 hour.
 
Apparently its at the summit of Mt.Pyre I haven't caught one either so I can't give you any better information...sorry.
 
It's rare but if you keep walking around the grass at the top of Mt. Pyre, you'll find it eventually.
 
At the top of Mt.Pyre, the very top part where you can see the fog, fortunately, It was the first pokemon I encountered there.
 
Hmm i tried cut so they walking 1 pace left then sweet scent with running. Hmm acro bike may be it! thx for the information
 
Wohohohohohoh ive found one of each gender. Ive done some research and in wikipedia it says that it's only 2% without sweet scent to find.
