Hey, I'm wondering what exactly the attack "Me First"....does. I bred it into my Modest Croagunk, thinking it had an effect that it doesn't seem to have. The Serebii page for the move is no help, so...could someone please explain its effect to me? Thank you in advance to anyone that helps.

Whoever uses Me First uses the attack that the other Pokemon is about to use on that Pokemon before it attacks. It's a rather meh attack and generally will result in Not Very Effective hits anyway, so I wouldn't bother with it.

I like the idea of the attack, but I can't see it being a good option.

Huh. Then why was the Lopunny my Croagunk was fighting able to get her Dizzy Punch in first?

Yah, I'mm 99% sure "Me First" doesn't have a speed priority... so make sure to use it with a fast pokemon, if you must.

Okay, so my Toxicroak tank(with Dry Skin, Rain Dance, and a Wet Stone, it works) wouldn't do too well with it. So, I guess it's Focus Blast, Mud Bomb, Sludge Bomb, and Rain Dance.

Me First

To my understanding, Me First is supposed to hit with the move the other Pokemon is about to use, with increased power. I'd think, with a suitably fast pokemon (like Lucario, who learns it leveling up), it'd be a real killer vs dragon types, if nothing else. Or that rock type who likes to spam earthquake at you :)
