Just something I really wanted to do, hope this turns out ok.

Plot: Samus Aran has earned her title as the galaxy’s greatest bounty hunter. But after a mysterious mission involving a Galactic Federation research station, which ended with both the destruction of the station and the planet SR388, Samus dropped off the galactic map, despite ultimately being found not guilty in the resulting trial on the grounds the destruction of the base and planet were justified to stop the spread of the deadly X Parasites. Sightings have occurred on various planets and it’s been confirmed that she’s taken private contracts from certain people, but the Galactic Federation has been incapable of contacting her since the incident.

You are a bounty hunter of renown who has been picking up the slack left by Samus’ absence refusing to accept work from the Galactic Federation. One day, you receive a mysterious message to come to the planet Aether for an important mission of vital importance to the entire Galaxy. Will you choose to take up this mission?

Rules:

Only 5 Bounty Hunters are contacted for the mission, but there are enemy bounty hunters in employ of the corrupt parts of the Galactic Federation.

You may be one of the bounty hunters from Metroid Prime Hunters if you so choose, but they’d have to have reason to be on the side they are on. These DON’T NEED BIOS, just a link to their page on a wiki or the like.

You may be an existing sentient species in the Metroid universe (Intelligent Species - Wikitroid, the Metroid wiki - Metroid: Other M, Metroid Prime 3, Metroid Prime 2, Super Metroid, and more), though for obvious reasons a few (such as the Ing, extinct species, and non sentient species) are not allowed on, or make your own species. Space Pirate species ARE allowed if you can give a good reason as to why the Galactic Federation or Samus would trust them or they’re on the Space Pirates side.

There are three sides in the conflict, the Space Pirates, the corrupt branches of the Galactic Federation, and Samus’ bounty hunters. The Galactic Federation can also employ bounty hunters, but these may change sides at any point. You may also be members of either of the other two groups, such as commanders or corrupt officials however. The Space Pirates have some connections to the corruption in the Federation, but both sides will gladly stab each other in the back to forward their agenda if it benefits them.

No killing another person’s character without permission.

Samus will provide your characters with a form of Morph Ball technology and the ability to utilize Chozo and Luminoth tech they may find.

I’m only allowing FOUR people to join! You each must have one good Bounty Hunter and only one, but you can be villainous ones who eventually changes sides.

It’s find to be a comical character, but please be able to take this universe seriously.

This RP takes place after Metroid Fusion, thus there will be spoilers for Fusion, Other M, and other Metroid games.

Ridley can be used, so long as you manage to explain how he came back from the dead again. I’m only doing this because it happens so often.

Normal rules apply.

Have fun!

My Characters:

Name: Relic
Age: 36
Species: Drakonian: A species of dragon-like creatures from the planet Draygon (pronounced as DRAY-gone). They average about 7 feet tall and resemble humanoid dragons with varying skin colors. They’re more humanoid than Ridley and have a less fierce appearance. They do have leathery wings and a tail as well. As they grow, they gradually become more peaceful in nature and favor intelligence. Fully grown Drakonians are accepted to be among the Higher Races and rule over the planet. Younger Drakonians are typically more aggressive and combat loving than their adult selves, but as their species is at peace on their home world, they typically take jobs off world as soldiers or Bounty Hunters. Drakonians make the transition from combat to peace at around 200 years old and are an extremely long lived species. They have a tribal culture and are honorable in any stage of their lives. It’s a widely known fact that Drakonians are one of the most trustworthy species in the known galaxy, as betraying an ally is considered an offense punishable by death on Draygon. As such, while you can trust a Drakonian with almost anything, betraying one will result in their family’s unforgiving vengeance being sworn against you until proper retribution occurs.
Armor Description: Relic’s armor is a deep grey color, with the exception of a blood red visor for his sight and orange fabric covering the wings membranes and gaps in the armor. It has spikes at the elbows and sharp claws on the hands and feet, as well as four spike-like protrusions out the back. It is also covered in many painted details of Draygon origin of which meaning most don’t know. He retails his tail, coated in armor as well. His morph ball form is grey and spiked, having an orange interior.
Capabilities: He’s capable of flight regardless of being armored or not, using a personal gravity generator to keep his armored self flying with the wings acting as stabilizers. His armor has the same defensive abilities as Samus’. His species are naturally capable of a plasma-like projectile attack from the mouth. A special feature of his armor permits him to utilize it even while armored and further upgrades allow him to convert the plasma into other beam types. He wields a staff-like weapon that’s collapsible and has two spear tips at both ends and has a missile launcher installed by Samus for use with similar capabilities to her own. His morph ball form allows him to lay plasma bombs behind him as well. His natural form is somewhat stronger than a humans’ as well.
Personality: Relic is a brave, noble hearted being who will do anything for his allies, even sacrifice his own life. However, like most of his species his age, he is aggressive and tends to charge into situations. He’s still capable of tactical planning, his natural instincts just tend to get in the way, particularly when enraged. He will never betray his friends, however, due to the taboo against it on his homeworld, and takes certain things such as traitors and those who would harm children as a trash who he must destroy. He idolizes Samus for many reasons, but chief being her sparing the infant Metroid instead of killing it, something he notes that he himself would’ve been incapable of doing and considers a noble act.
History: He was born on his homeworld of Draygon and raised as a warrior, but by the time of his birth, his planet was peaceful. So like many, he decided to become a bounty hunter. On an early mission, he discovered an unknown metal that may be of Chozo or other Higher Race origin. Fascinated by it’s properties, he took it to a smith on his homeworld and, after much work, it was crafted into the armor he now wears. As he continued his bounty hunting, he gradually continued to upgrade his armor to use technology and serve more of a purpose than simple armor. After Samus Aran dropped off the map, he worked hard and became one of the top bounty hunters in the galaxy. Receiving the invitation and decided to take it in hopes of proving himself.
Side: Samus’ Hunters.

Name: Adrian Trenten
Age: 39
Species: Human
Personality: Crafty, devious, a master planner. Adrian will do anything to get what he desires. He is cunning and able to hide this fact under a façade of kindness and general goodwill, often doing various good deeds throughout the galaxy. Behind the scenes, however, he’s the mastermind of the corruption present in the government and seeks to gradually take control of the entire galaxy. He has a massive superiority complex and believes himself to be the most fitting person to rule the galaxy.
History: Born on a colony, he was raised from a young age as a man of wealth and prosperity. He gradually worked his way up to a high ranking official in the Galactic Federation, and gradually helped the seeds of corruption take hold under his clever manipulations. To stop the corruption, his deception will need to be revealed.
Side: Corrupt Galactic Federation (Leader)

Name: Alma
Age: 21
Species: An Omniphaze (Ageikuga [Ah-jei-kuu-ga] in their old language), humanoid-like aliens of the planet Rirrom. The species average around 5'6" and 5'7" in height, with the males having the biggest in muscle mass, and the females the densest muscle mass. They are similar to the Jovian race in the aspect that they are shapeshifters. Unlike the Jovians, however, the Omniphaze are the true masters at it and made it into an art form, the race being able to take on any shape, organic or not, and copy it down to the DNA, mineral structure, scent, and any abilities the form came with. Their true forms have clear-colored hair that seems to billow in non-existent air, various-colored skin (Alma's skin color is deep purple) that gives off a optical illusion-based translucency, with their eyes a different color than their skin to make it stand out better (Alma's eye color is blazing red).

Because of their abilities, one does not normally detect an Omniphaze until it is too late (there is chinks to their ability, like say, the original to the copy is discovered), often working as deep-undercover cops, assassins, and spies, and because of their talents, the species had flourished in a matter of two centuries to the point of them having the ability to use space travel. However, they weren't like this at first. Rorrim is in a system just outside of present-day Federation space, they once lived in complete isolation in a primitive culture, having developed their supreme shapeshifting powers to avoid being seen by predators and prey. That all changed when Federation colonists arrived at the lush jungle-like planet of Rirrom, noticing the untouched wealth the planet had to offer. The Omniphaze took offense to the colonists and decided to use their shapeshifting for war. When they infiltrated the colonists, they soon gained a thirst for knowledge and kidnapped the colonists for that knowledge, then released them and some smuggled themselves into the fleeing ships that had a rough encounter with "rapidly-intelligent savages". Once the stowaways made it to a Federation-controlled planet, they grabbed whatever information they could carry and brought it back to Rorrim. Centuries later (and after much pilfering), the Omniphaze have become one of the fastest-growing technological powers in the Outer Territories, having developed various inventions that are beyond the Federation, but still inferior to the Chozo, the Luminoth and other greater technological giants during their heyday. But give them several more centuries...

Armor Description: Alma's suit is a basic-looking suit that looks like standard issue Federation Marine combat armor with a black main color with red accents on the helmet, gray on the right arm, aqua blue on the left, yellow on the right leg, green on the left, purple on the chest and orange on the back. Visor is in the shape of a "V" with a rounded bottom, wide sides and a small valley*.

Capabilities: Despite it looking like stolen tech with a new paint job and a different helmet, it is actually pure Omniphaze tech. Why it looks like a Federation Marine suit is because it is a basic frame, perfect for the properties of the special metal that makes up Alma's suit, known as Miragium, which is a special metal that reacts to an Omniphaze currently using the suit and transforms the suit to the needs of that Omniphaze, from transforming limbs into weapons to complete disguises (if a lot heavier than before). It does not make ammo for any copied guns or missile launchers. Also, it comes with a separate system with a manual switch that launches a energy sword from her back in case her suit is on the fritz or damaged.

Personality: Sarcastic. Flippant. Cynical. These things define Alma. She is also unflappable, not flinching even if a giantic Sheegoth roared into her face. She's also short tempered, willing to strike anyone that rubs her the wrong way once irritated enough. Despite the title of her birth, she's honorable and honest, but can be a little blunt and stubborn as a mule. She's also determined to see things through to the end, so she is quite willing to seek answers to questions.

History: Alma is the daughter of the rulers of Rirrom, and part of a rather extended family filled with many siblings and half-siblings on both sides. She was brought up in a privileged life of modern times. She is, however, quite entranced by the history of her people, including how 20 Omniphaze managed to steal 250,000 credits worth of Federation intel and made what they had into modern-day Rirrom. It was not long before she heard stories of Samus Aran, the Federation's most feared Bounty Hunter, and many stories, most of them exaggerated. Then again, with Aran being tight-lipped about her past, it's not their fault they take some aspects and twist them into a folk tale. As Alma gotten older, she had heard more and more of Aran's exploits, from the Phazon incident, the Bottle Ship incident, and the Research Lab/SR388 incident, and came to look up to Samus as a icon. Soon after her 18th birthday, she decided to take the ancient Omniphaze rite of passage for the rightful claim to be called a warrior, which was to survive an attack of Rirrom's most feared creature: the Omnibeast (Ageirangi in the ancient tongue), a beast that can transform into any alien creature in the cosmos. After a dreadful ten hours of a fight, she had won and bears her scars in pride, as well as a tooth she had taken from the Omnibeast's true form. With that, Alma gained access to some Miragium ore, and eventually created her suit thanks to a blacksmith and nano-technician. With suit now in hand, she took one of her family fighter ships and took off into the cosmos, searching for Samus after she heard that Samus disappeared from the grid.

Side: Federation (at the moment)

Will be. For now, she's with the Federation in their attempt to get back Samus.
