Since in 2017, the completed series of Pokémon season 1 DVD box set are released in the UK. When they'll be more coming up soon in UK.
You know like,

  • Season 3 (Johto Journeys)
  • Season 4 (Johto League Champions)
  • Season 5 (Master Quest)
  • Season 6 (Advanced)
  • Season 7 (Advence Challenge)
  • Season 8 (Advence Battle)
  • Season 9 (Battle Frontier)
  • Season 10 (Diamond and Pearl)
  • Season 11 (DP Rival Destinies)
  • Season 12 (Galactic Battles)
  • Season 13 (Sinnoh League Victors)
Let me know when it will be released date for region 2.

Probably never now.

I'm not sure if the Indigo League box set did well in terms of sales but I know that the Blu-Ray release of it was bloody appalling and it really does make me wonder why they bothered with a Blu-Ray release.

On top of that Manga became FUNimation (and will most likely become Crunchyroll soon if the FUNi name being folded is any indication) and they seemed to have dropped all non FUNi licenses (a few including Power Rangers, some Cartoon Network shows they were releasing, Bojack Horseman of all things and Pokémon of course).

It's possible they could find a new distributor but it really doesn't look likely since there's been no new home media releases as of now. Not even the movies anymore. The Mewtwo remake doesn't have one here in the UK and I have a feeling Secrets of the Jungle will be the same.

We've always been given the crappiest end of the stick when it comes to releases of the show.
