Rika & Clodsire to make their Pokémon Masters EX debut in a Poké Fair Scout this week on April 25th — Welcome Rika Sweepstakes now running

A special trailer posted to Pokémon Masters EX's official social media accounts today has revealed that Rika, the fan-fave member of the Paldea Elite Four, will be making their Pasio debut later this week in a special Poké Fair Scout. Welcome Rika social rallies has also been launched on the official English and Japanese language accounts on X.

Rika & Clodsire's Poké Fair Scout will run from April 25th, at 11:00pm (PDT), until May 15th, at 10:59pm (PDT). This fair-exclusive pair are expected to be released with an expanded sync grid, as well as the ability to be raised to 6★ EX and gain an EX Role. More information on this sync pair will be available on Bulbapedia after their release.

Rika & Clodsire are a Ground-type Support role Sync Pair. Their Rampant Mud Slap buddy move will allow them to lower all opponents accuracy by two stat ranks and leave them all poisoned, as well as creating a Ground Zone.

From April 30th at 11:00pm (PDT), players who have teamed up with Rika & Clodsire from their featured Poké Fair Scout will be able to invite them to the Trainer Lodge.

Welcome Rika Sweepstakes
To celebrate Rika's Paldean debut, special Welcome Rika Sweepstakes are being held on the official English and Japanese language accounts on C, giving players the opportunity to win a variety of prizes.

For the English competition, four winners will each receive a Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Paradox Rift booster bundle, while the grand prize winner will receive a Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Paradox Rift booster bundle and booster display, and a Clodsire (Poison Point) Poké Plush.

For the Japanese competition meanwhile, 25 winners will be chosen, with 10 receiving a Rika mascot plush, 10 receiving a Rika and Clodsire Acrylic Stand, and 5 receiving a Clodsire Poké Plush.

To enter, players must follow the appropriate Pokémon Masters EX account for their region on (@PokemonMasters or @pokemas_game), and then repost the official contest post (English / Japanese) prior to April 28th, at 7:59pm (PDT) / April 29th at 11:59am (JST). For the English side of the contest, players can also post a screenshot of Rika using the hashtag #WelcomeRika to receive an additional entry.
