What Is Your Favorite Common Pokemon?

Since Dragonite is breedable, I could easily trade a bred starter or version exclusive for a dratini, at the very least. Dratini is also catchable in game in every game that isn't RSE. You missed the point of the whole thread, admit it. Dragonite is not a "common" Pokémon and will never be. If you define a common Pokémon as "one that is easy to get", then every Pokémon would be common, since you can get them all quite easily in GTS.
 
Geodude is cool too, but you have to trade to get Golem. :mad:
I mainly use Pidgy as my flying type, because it makes me feel that I am getting more out of caring for it. Spearow just evolves and stays that way.

I hate Rattata though, stupid Hyper Fang
 
Bidoof, man. That cry is genius. With that little clockwork sounding moan, it could've been the new Celebi; it SOUNDS like the Dr. Who of Pokemon, but ends up being more hated than /b/tards. BUT I LOVE HIM AND I should probably capture one.

No, Dragonite is common. He's my favorite common pokemon.
 
In the originals always used the geodude / pidgey lines, so I'll call tem my fav commons
 
I usually try to avoid the common Pokémon. Only one I've actually ever used on a team has been Shinx.

I mean, I'll go for the "secret" common Pokémon (Ralts in Gen III, Pikachu in Viridian Forest) but other than that, I like the more unusual ones.
 
Magikarp.

It evolves into badassness, and unlike the common bugs, it actually learns moves by means other than evolution.

But Weedle is awesome too. And Pidgey. And sometimes Ratatta. I'm emotionally attached to the former and latter, and Pidgey just owns.
 
I actually like Bidoof. It looks so cute and its cry is hilarious. I like it's little "durr..." expression in Platinum.

Also it and it's evolved form are great HM slaves. If they could learn Fly as well, I'll love it even more.
