i just had a thought while reading this forum. If Pokemon were real, there would obviously be a lot of jobs that focused on Pokemon. If pokemon were real and you could have any job or career dealing with them what would it be?

Id consider being a Pokemon Breeder, raising baby Pokemon to give to Professors so they could give them to trainers or a Groomer that makes Pokemon look beautiful for their trainers

lol... i would probably be a breeder specializing in water type, or an actual pokemon trainer (like a dog trainer, taming it)
 
I'd start as a normal pokemon trainer, but after traveling around the world for so long, I'd be a gym leader, probably as an adult ;)
 
Probably a trainer, like most are saying. I'd really bond with my Pokemon, more like in the anime than in the games. I'm sure every trainer aspires to be a Gym Leader, and then part of the Elite Four, and then the Champion, so I'd go for all that. Maybe work part time in a Pokemart?
 
I'd be a part of the Police Units in the Pokemon World as.......there just don't seem to be that many around. The idea of having 10 year-olds save the world from creatures that could easily kill them was so far-fetched (no pun intended) & I was so happy when Looker was revealed in Sinnoh & had a comeback in Isshu that I wanted to do the same thing he did. Me & my trusty Pokemon would be out busting crooks & solving crimes in all regions of the Pokemon World.

I'd be a trainer, what's the point in just doing when you can do all the things you can do as a trainer in the games.

Breed, train, plant berries... etc.
 
Mm... Trainer seems the likely place to start out, considering I'd be ten at the time. However, if I matured in a similar way I did in our World, I would probably be dragged to chose another type of career, like a battle teacher with touches of anime breeder. It would be fun to help the youngsters with something I was passionated about (in this case, Pokémon).
 
I'd definitely be a battle trainer, active in competitions. After a while, I might get involved in teaching young trainers how to survive in the field.
 
I'd like to be an actual Trainer.

Although, working in the Safari Zone might be interesting also.
 
Gym Leader/Teacher. I'd offer training to young kids, challenges to the older ones, and discipline to the unwise. Still sticking with Ghosts and Fossils. Maybe set up shop in a blastland somewhere.
 
I'd start as a Trainer just so I could get a good grasp on how to utilize Pokémon and from there use my knowledge to become a Pokémon Ranger.
